[ Autographs ] A vinyl LP record of the soundtrack to Stanley Kubrick's "Clockwork Orange" bearing the director's signature on the sleeve front. [Collected in person by the vendor's father-in-law Mr Roy Smith, while working as a Senior Projectionist in the dubbing theatre of Elstree Studios. A note from the vendor reads "At this particular time they were working on the film Clockwork Orange, the theatre was a closed theatre, with a Mr Bill Rowe as the Main Mixer and also alongside him most of the time on the mixing desk was Stanley Kubrick himself. He (Roy Smith) can not remember precisely, but believes the company was either Hawk Films or Anvil Films. Roy does remember many a late night, overtime and them feasting on steak sandwiches, not your everyday meal in 1971 Britain, and thoroughly enjoying the work, hard though it was, Roy purchased the copy of the Long Player from the Studio Shop that was in Elstree Studios and during a break in one of the evening sessions asked Stanley Kubrick to sign the LP for him. He was a bit taken aback at his agreement, as he feels that Stanley Kubrick was not one for signing many autographs. Such was his shock, that he did not have a decent pen to hand and all he could lay his hands on in the moment was the rather attractive green with which the signature was duly signed. Roy does believe there are still a couple of members of the Dubbing Crew who worked alongside him on the Clockwork Orange project. He is also happy to talk to any purchaser if they wish to know more or have any questions"]
