McIntosh of Kirkcaldy: a Dunfermline sideboard, rectangular, with large central two-door cupboard, drop-down drinks cabinet to one side, three drawers to the other, the top drawer fitted a cutlery compartment, on turned legs, 214 x 45 x 75cms high; an extending dining table with shaped rectangular top and two pop-up leaves, 160 (closed) 236 (extended) x 92 x 74cms high; and six dining chairs.
Manner of Alfred Cox/Gordon Russell of Broadway: a mid 20th Century walnut sideboard, the rectangular top above three cupboards, each with single door enclosing a single shelf, three drawers below with turned knob handles, the central drawer fitted as a cutlery drawer, on slight splayed square section tapered legs, 137 x 46 x 103cms high.
Ercol: an elm Windsor dresser, the superstructure with two pairs of cupboard doors, one opening to reveal fittings for glass shelves, the lower section with two short drawers above a pair of doors opening to reveal a shelf, and a single door opening to reveal recess and cutlery drawer, 135 x 46 x 124cms high.
A pair of Regency style marble-topped rosewood single door pedestal side cabinets. The doors with decorative brass grilles and pleated celadon green silk panels. Richard Coles (Cornhill?) Ipswich. An early 19th-century eight-day longcase clock. With lancet arch arched door mahogany case. The movement chiming the hours on a single bell and fitted a painted dial with moon phase to indicator to the broken arch with a secondary dial at 12 noon and calendar aperture at 6 o'clcock. 209 cm high x 46 cm wide. 30 cm dial.Footnote: Richard Cole London and Ipswich (1771-1833) Apprenticed in London to John Wontner and then returned to Ipswitch as a journeyman.Condition report: The movement is clean and seems complete and has its corresponding weights and pendulumThe dial is very clean, I wondered if it had been re enameld however the dial does show some fine cracks in the enamel dispelling my theory.The dial sits well within the mask although it sits further than expected on the cheeks to place it where expected in the maskThe case and hood are in good order but all hood finials are missing.The lancet arch door has a slight spring when the door is unlocked
