An 18 karat rose gold Eska dress watch, ca. 1950. Automatic, incabloc, ref. nr. 145285. Engraved decorated gold and cognac coloured dial, stripe and Arabic index. To a black leather strap and gold plated buckle. Eska is a small but high-quality Swiss watch brand founded in Grenchen (Switzerland) at the beginning of the 20th century. The brand name Eska was derived of the initials of the founder; Sylvan Kocher: "eS-Ka". Eska became the brand "Royce" in the 1960's. No box, no papers.
