Original vintage Danish advertising poster for the Eumig Electric R Standard 8mm cine camera which was produced by Eumig in Austria in the late 1950s: Let 1959 be a year you remember - Narrow film-recorders from kr. 398 - Talk Eumig with your photo dealer. (Originally text reads: 'Lad 1959 blive et ar De husker - smalfilm-optagere fra kr. 398. - Tal Eumig med deres fotohandler'). Colourful poster featuring a large black and white photograph of the camera model set against a yellow background with a vertical film stripe on the right side containing small inserts showing scenes of daily life. Below the camera, the Eumig logo is printed in blue against a white background. EUMIG was an Austrian company producing audio and video equipment that existed from 1919 until 1982. The name is an acronym for Elektrizitäts und Metallwaren Industrie Gesellschaft, or, translated, the "Electricity and Metalware Industry Company."
