A late-Victorian cased set of twelve silver mounted coffee cans and saucers by Crown Staffordshire of Fenton - the silver hallmarked William Comyns & Sons Ltd, Birmingham 1895, with pierced cherub, foliate and rocaille decoration and cast silver beast handle, the bone china with gilt floral swags, foliate and scale decoration, red-brown printed factory marks (a few later replacements with pale green marks), in a black morocco case from Mappin Bros. of London, with Royal blue silk and purple velvet fitted interior, the case 50 x 45cm (lacks two saucers, one can and the spoons); together with a smaller cased set of six silver mounted coffee cups and saucers by Shelley, the mounts by Adie Bros Ltd, Birmingham 1922, in plain white with gilt rims, in a fitted case.
