Samuel Phillips Jackson (1830-1904), watercolour, Figures on the Beach at Sunset, signed and dated 1895, 30cm x 49cm, original frame. Notes: S P Jackson was an accomplished watercolourist and oil painter born in Bristol in 1830. He was elected as an associate of the British Watercolour Society in 1853, toured widely and exhibited at numerous venues including the Royal Academy, the British Institution and the Watercolour Society. He became a full member of the society in 1876.

A pair of early 20th Century Royal Dux Bohemia figures of a lady and gentleman, she wearing a pink dress holding her skirt aloft to show her ankles and shoes, he wearing cravat, waistcoat and pink breaches and playing a mandolin, both with applied pink triangle marks and impressed 117 and 118, tallest 45cm, S/D.

The silk leaf painted in body colour with a finely dressed gentleman offering a bird to an elegant lady seated in a garden setting, with her lady in waiting, child and dog. Having finely carved ivory sticks featuring gilt dancing figures between ovals, the carved guards similarly decorated with figures in period costume. Contained within a glazed fan shaped case. Length 27.5cm.
λ An early 18th century ivory fan, with carved ivory sticks and guards, the guards with figures in period dress and each stick carved at the top of the gorge with either a flower or a figure. The double leaf is hand painted in bright colours with a biblical/mythological scene with a king (Solomon) and his attendants. The verso painted in bright colours with a multitude of flowers typical of early fans. Mother of pearl thumb guard at the base. Circa 1710. Length 27cm.
