• A hundred years since World War One, this Snowdog reminds us of the 20,000 brave war dogs who were trained in dangerous front-line duties, bringing first aid to the wounded, leaping across trenches carrying messages, and boosting morale among the troops. And 2018 is the Chinese Year of the Dog! • Lois Cordelia is a versatile artist and illustrator, based at her studio in Ipswich. She works in diverse styles, including energetic speed-painting, intricate scalpel paper-cutting, and mixed media sculpture. She most often creates her art live in public and welcomes the opportunity to talk with people while she works. Her work has featured in a number of public art trails across the UK. Since 1999, Lois has also worked part-time as an artist assistant to children's illustrator Jan Pienkowski (born 1936, best known for his Meg and Mog books). Lois studied Arabic at the University of Edinburgh.

• My name is Snowy and I'm Pilgrims Hospices Snowpup. I have been on many paw-some adventures with Pilgrims Hospices and Ashford Borough Council since January, as part of Snowdogs Discover Ashford. My bigger friend, called Sparky and I were the first Snowdogs in Ashford and since then lots of friends have joined me. I am decorated in stars, snowflakes, trees and icicles, which are all themes linked to the work of Pilgrims Hospices. • Snowy is Pilgrims Hospices original pup and is part of the Snowpup family together with 19 pups designed and decorated by 19 local schools. The Snowpups themselves are part of Pilgrims 'Education Programme' that puts creativity at its heart. Now the trail is completed, all of the Snowpups will soon be returned to the schools as a treasured keepsake. But Snowy is here for you to rehome and find his furever abode. Kaya and Robyn said, “We’re so excited to have been a part of the Snowdogs project! We really appreciate the opportunity to interpret and paint Snowy the special pup. We’ve really enjoyed being involved with the Snowdogs trail and we hope that everybody has loved seeing these pups popping up around Ashford". Now Snowy needs a new home... can you look after Snowy furever more.
