For a Mongolian figure of Amitayus, dated 17th/18th Century, seated with the nectar flask, see Metropolitan Museum [Accession Number 1992.193.1], Gift of Steven Kossak.Condition Report: Please note the damage and loss to this sculpture. This includes: The circular hole on the right hand is presumed to to imply a lost nectar flask; circular holes on the arms and chest is presumed to imply lost inlay; and the regular, circular base may imply that the figure was originally part of a larger composition. A collection of militaria including a George VI 1897 pattern officers dress sword and scabbard, French Eppee 1878 bayonet and scabbard, a Victorian painted truncheon, bearing impressed marks and another unpainted and items of East Surrey Regiment interest, two percussion pistols, and a Webley & Scott "Senior" .177 air pistol, (working)Air Pistol: blueing is good, scales are good, cocks with good spring resistance, triger action is positive and the pistol discharges promptly on the pull of the trigger. Sword: Some oxidation to blade surface and hilt, and could do with a good polish, evidence (see extra images) of pin rust on a small portion of the blade but only lightly affected.The scabbard: the pig skin covering is breaking down and is damaged towards the throat end of the scabbard, structually good no huge disfiguring dents. portepee and good. Bayonet:Blunted tip by approx 1cm now rounded over to a point, some signs of historic rust to the blade and scabbard, wooden scales ok, retaining spring strip for the balonet lock missing.scabbard with signs of old blueing but considerable surface pin rust.Books: show some damp staining to the pages and covers.Smith of London pocket pistol: percussion nipple broken off, cocks to both positions and releases on the trigger as expected, interference safety catch not working,bore clear (.48), wooden pistol grip stained but intact.Unnamed pocket pistol: percussion nipple smashed, box lock with cock but has no resitance, main spring broken, box lock, with gaping seam trigger moves but does not release hammer, walnut wooden pistol grip good order. Undecorated truncheon: scratches of age and use, it has a warp that gives the whole a curvature, no wrist strap, no stamps or numbers, paint. Painted McNaughton of Glasgow truncheon, good order, some signs of old scratches but generally good cypher and crown still legible, numbered 996.Mayers & Harrison Ltd of Manchester 1964 bugle:with broad arrow marking, some denting but still operational.Sykes, powder flask: some dents but mechanism working.Other remaining items please reffer to the images supplied.

The lot comprising an oviod shaped snuff bottle with faucet cut stopper, inside painted with lanscape, lion mask on each side, a square snuff bottle depicting gold fishes, landscape, lotus flowers and crane, a rectangular shaped snuff bottle depicts houses, landscape and figurines, a white glass snuff bottle with boats and riverscape, further five small moon flask snuff bottles with different colour border, landscapes and birds.Largest measures approx. 10cm tall.The largest one has cracks A/F.

To include the trestle table, HxLxW 76x180x68cm, plus a copper tea urn, a "British Queen Fuelless Cooker", a metal crate containing 14 milk bottles, many with printed Dairy names on them, an aluminium tea flask & 22 enamel cups & a jug - these all have a hole in the base from being screwed to the table.

Anderson shelter not included, that being lot 1374.This tableau shows a wartime scene and the items on view are not all new. We judge them to be in good condition, although worm in a wooden crate was noted.

A cased pair of .650 calibre French percussion rifled officer's pistols by Trouilleux, St Etienne, Circa 1850, with octagonal etched twist sighted rifled barrels, stamped 'Merley Tivet' beneath the breeches and struck with St Etienne proof marks, engraved case hardened breeches, engraved case hardened breech tangs extending over the butts, engraved locks signed 'Trouilleux' and 'St Etienne', case hardened triggers, figured walnut half-stocks with foliate carving to pommel base, engraved case hardened spurred trigger guards, fore-end caps and butt caps with sprung traps, brass tipped ramrods, in lined and fitted case complete with accesories including bullet mould, turnscrew, sprue-cutter and powder flask stamped 'Boche a Paris', 14 7/8in.
