Staffordshire to include figures, a jug and a majolica jug modelled as sweetcorn (7) CONDITION REPORT: The toby jug has prevalent crazing, discolouration all over and to the inside and a small match head sized piece away from the left hand side back of the handle. The largest standing figure in white with a black tricorn hat has a large hairline crack running from the left hand side of its hair through the arm and hand and also has a large crack running through his waistline and one further hairline crack running from the tricorn hat down to the bottom. There is a sticker underneath saying Benjamin Franklin. The corn on the cob majolica vase has a crack going through to the middle of the handle and exhibits some discolouration to the interior. The figure of the man in a hat with his left arm resting upon a spade appears reasonable with no restoration, cracks or chips noted although there is some minor paintwork away commensurate with age. The top of the pail which he is holding in his right hand has discolouration. The figure with the blue tunic and musket has a small firing crack to the left hand side approx. 1cm. No other problems are noted. Underneath this figure there is a label for BADA dealer John Howard of Woodstock. The female figure with a goat and lot number on has overall glaze crazing and is slightly discoloured commensurate with age but does not have any restoration, cracks or chips etc. The final figure of a lady in an elaborate hat with feather appears to be in good general overall condition except for what appears to be an original firing crack where the feather fixes to the hat on the right hand side at the back of the hat. Possibly some small extremities to the five floral appliques to the base.
