An 18th Century George III mahogany linen press of small proportions The swept and Greek key moulded cornice above two shaped panelled doors enclosing three sliding shelves, the base section with two short over one long drawer, fitted with brass swan neck handles, raised on bracket feet, width approx 124cm. CONDITION REPORT: some moulding missing, surface scuffed,scratched, needs re-polishing, repaired splits to panel.
A mixed lot of silver items, comprising: a George III snuff box, by Joseph Taylor, Birmingham 1806, shaped rectangular form, engraved Greek Key sides, the top and base with stylised decoration, a seventeenth century Seal-top spoon, the bowl with a pelleted mark, Salisbury circa 1620, bowl very poorly repaired and damaged, plus a vesta case, a fruit knife, approx. weighable 2.3oz. A Chinese white metal (probably silver) coffee pot, the cover having a Dog of Fo finial, the body profusely decorated with a foliate pattern and Greek Key design in relief, with floral reserves around the baluster body, each decorated with figures and deities, the handle and spout in bamboo effect, terminating in dragons heads. Four character impressed mark to base (20cm). Condition Report: Good overall condition with no obvious signs of damage or repair. Tarnished in places. 17.2oz 20cm.
