Hahn in dezent gehaltener Optik. Dazu mit kantiger Batterie und geschwungen beziehungsweise geschweiften Enden.Die Gegenschlossplatte sichert mit zwei Schrauben die Schossplatte. Direkt hinter der Gegenschlossplatte ist die Skalierung aus Messing, mit Pendel zur Entfernungseinstellung. Der kurze achtkantige Lauf geht in eine runde Form über. Sie besitzt mündungsseitig einen becherartigen Abschluss zum Verschießen von Granaten. Der Becher ist mit einem Messingkorn an der Oberseite und einer Riemenöse an der Unterseite versehen.Der massive Nussbaumschaft ist um die Schwanzschraube und die Schlossplatten schwungvoll erhaben ausgeführt. Die eiserne Kolbenplatte mit langer Nase an der Kolbenoberseite hat eine geschwungene, spitz zulaufende Form. Am Schaftende im Bereich des Überganges zum Granatbecher befindet sich ein massiver Metallabschluss. Dieser besitzt eine rechteckige Öffnung an der Unterseite für den hervorstehenden Rückschlaghaken.Die Metallteile in hervorragendem Zustand. Cock with a discreet finish. Also with an angular battery and curved or curved ends.The counter lock plate secures the lock plate with two screws. The scale is made of brass directly behind the side plate, with a pendulum for range adjustment. The short octagonal barrel merges into a round shape. It has a cup-shaped end at the muzzle for firing grenades. The cup is fitted with a brass front sight on the top and a sling loop on the underside.The solid walnut stock is sweepingly raised around the tang screw and the lock plates. The iron butt plate with a long nose on the top of the butt has a curved, tapered shape. At the end of the stock in the area of the transition to the grenade cup is a solid metal finial. This has a rectangular opening on the underside for the protruding recoil hook.The metal parts in excellent condition. Historische Feuerwaffen - Erlaubnisfreie Waffen : Großkalibrige Steinschlossbüchse, Geschenk der königlichen Waffenmanufaktur in Turin an Herzog Ferdinand von Genua aus dem Jahr 1838.Neuwertig erhaltene, qualitätsvoll gearbeitete Steinschlossbüchse, die Schlossplatte gewölbt zum Kolbenhals. Die Schlossplatte ist wie Hahn und Batterie in dezenter Ausführung gehalten. Die Zündpfanne ist in Messing gefertigt. Schlossplatte mit in Gold eingelegten Buchstaben bezeichnet: "Fare in Torino". Gehalten wird die Schlossplatte von einer Gegenschlossplatte mittels zwei Schrauben. Die Gegenschlossplatte ist mit diversen Abnahmen versehen. Der massive, konisch gehaltene und gebräunte Lauf ist am Laufansatz achtkantig, und geht in eine runde Form über. Der Lauf ist im Bereich des Zündloches mit Gold belegt und weist darüber zwei Abnahmen auf. Von der Batteriefeder bis zum Ende der Schlossplatte hat der Lauf an der Oberseite eine in Gold ausgeführte zerplatzende Granate mit silbernem Kreuz des Hauses Savoyen. Darauf folgt mittig in Gold eingelegt die Inschrift: "La Regia Fabbrica d?Armi in Torino a S.A.R. Ferdinando Duca di Genova". Am vorderen Ende folgt das in Gold ausgeführte Wappen des Königshauses von Savoyen (Sardinien). Im Kaliber 22.5 mm . An beiden Enden des Laufes befindet sich umlaufend ein goldenes Band, welches sich am Rand der Schwanzschraube fortsetzt. Das eiserne Abzugsblech mit Fingerrillen setzt sich weit über den Kolbenhals hinaus fort und trägt diverse Abnahmen. Der in Messing gehaltene Abzugsbügel reicht kurz in den Vorderschaft und endet in Tropfenform und trägt ebenfalls im Auslauf diverse Abnahmen. Der Abzugsbügel selbst zeigt sich bekränzt und trägt die Inschrift "Torino 23. December 1838". Auf dem Schlossblech befindet sich zwischen zwei Holzschrauben einen Riemenbügel. Der Schaft ohne Verzierung, Darauf befindet sich ein in Gold eingelegtes Daumenblech versehen in Wappenform mit der gekrönten Chiffre "F" für Ferdinando, Duca di Genova. An der rechten Kolbenseite befindet sich eine ovale Marke mit Krone und diversen Schriftzeichen. Die Schaftkappe selbst ist in Eisen gehalten, wobei die Schrauben umlaufend bekränzt sind. Zusätzlich befinden sich auf der Schaftkappe drei Abnahmen. Der eiserne Ladestock wird von metallenen in der Ausführung geschwungenen Hülsen sowie einem geschwungenen, abgesetzten Einschub gehalten. Auch diese Teile tragen diverse Abnahmen. Die Schrauben, wie auch der Batteriedeckel sind mit der Ziffer 23 versehen. Aus dem Besitz eines Mitglieds des königlichen Hauses von Savoyen von größter Seltenheit.Historische Feuerwaffen - Erlaubnisfreie Waffen : Large-caliber presentation flintlock rifle by the royal arms factory in Torino to Duke Ferdinand of Genoa, dated 1838.In 22.5 mm calibre. Flintlock rifle in mint condition, quality workmanship, the lock plate curved towards the butt stock. The lock plate is of a discreet design like the cock and battery.The priming pan is made of brass. Lock plate inscribed with letters inlaid in gold: "Fare in Torino". The lock plate is held in place by a counter-lock plate with two screws. The counter-lock plate is provided with various removals.The solid, tapered and browned barrel is octagonal at the base and changes into a round shape. The barrel is inlaid with gold in the area of the firing hole and has two acceptance marks above it. From the battery spring to the end of the lock plate, the top of the barrel has a bursting grenade with a silver cross of the House of Savoy inlaid in gold. This is followed by the inscription inlaid in gold in the center:"La Regia Fabbrica d'Armi in Torino a S.A.R. Ferdinando Duca di Genova".The coat of arms of the royal house of Savoy (Sardinia) follows in gold at the front.In 22.5 mm caliber. A gold band runs around both ends of the barrel and continues along the edge of the tang. The iron trigger plate with finger grooves extends far beyond the butt stock neck and bears various acceptance marks. The brass trigger guard extends into the forearm and ends in a teardrop shape and also bears various acceptance marks in the spout. The trigger guard itself is crowned and bears the inscription "Torino December 23, 1838".There is a sling swivel on the lock plate between two wooden screws. The stock is without decoration, on it is a gold-inlaid escutcheon in the shape of a coat of arms with the crowned cipher "F" for Ferdinando, Duca di Genova.On the right side of the butt stock is an oval mark with a crown and various characters. The butt plate itself is made of iron, with the bolts wreathed all around. There are also three acceptance marks on the butt plate. The iron ramrod is held by curved metal sleeves and a curved, stepped insert. These parts also bear various acceptance marks. The screws as well as the battery cover are marked with the number 23.An important, excellently preserved presentation rifle from the royal arms manufactory in Turin to Duke Ferdinand of Genoa. With provenance of a member of the royal house of Savoy of great rarity. dating: circa 1848 provenance: France, Cardboard body covered with black cloth, black leather peak. Fine silver-coloured metal front frieze of the Second Republic. Chin-straps lined with velvet and covered with silver-coloured copper foil worked with scales, cheek-pieces with embossed flaming grenade. Silver-coloured chevron, tricolour sheet metal cockade, a double pompom at the top. Bottom edge and visor with some damaged parts, signs of use and time. Sweat band still present with signs of use and time. With label of a supplier from Valenza inside. height total circa 27 cm.

Leather chin-strap held by chain with brass mail. Inside leather cap with some signs of use and time but basically well preserved. Beach, 38th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, United States Army United States of America, Bronze Star, unnamed; Purple Heart, the reverse engraved ‘William L. Beach’; together two cloth patches and a Korean cigarette lighter, nearly extremely fine (2) £70-£90 --- Importation Duty This lot is subject to importation duty of 5% on the hammer price unless exported outside the UK --- --- William L. Beach, a native of South Carolina, served with the United States Forces from 12 May 1949 to 24 December 1954, and was twice wounded in action in Korea. Awarded the Bronze Star for his gallantry, the official citation states: ‘Private First Class William L. Beach, 38th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, distinguished himself by heroic achievement on 5 September 1950 in the vicinity of Changnyong, Korea. On that date his unit was defending Hill 208 against an attack by a determined and numerically superior enemy. Private Beach's platoon prepared to withdraw under heavy enemy pressure. During this attack he encountered six of the enemy, but beat them back with hand grenades, wounding three and causing the others to withdraw a short distance. When two additional enemy joined the three, he again forced them back with his last hand grenade. Only when the rest of his platoon had completed their withdrawal did he withdraw. The heroism displayed by Private Beach reflects great credit upon himself and the military service.’ Sold with copied research.
