Frank Allen (The Searchers) - 1992 ESP "Searchers" Custom Shop made bass guitar, ser. no. 90912; Finish: black, various imperfections including large blemishes, scuffs, buckle rash as to be expected for a gigging instrument; Fretboard: maple; Frets: heavily worn in places; Electrics: active EMG circuitry and pickups, working; Case: Hiscox hard case; Overall condition: good *Custom made by ESP Guitars for Frank Allen of The Searchers for their 30th anniversary. The original neck bearing an inlaid name to the twelfth fret and with custom anniversary logo to the head. Whilst the original neck is retained, it has been replaced due to damage caused to the head when Frank threw the bass at the end of a concert and accidentally knocked the head. The split is repairable and the neck could easily be reunited with the bass. Sold with photographs of Frank with the bass, one of which has been signed
