The metal finish has some small amounts of wear and there is some light surface speckling. The action does not feed correctly with snap caps, this seems to be a common problem with our snap caps and Remingtons and might be due to the short length of the snap caps. We have not tested the gun with live ammo so cannot reliability. The stock has some scratches and dents but no splits or repairs.

Swedish Mauser 6.5 x 55mm bolt action rifle, serial number 114708 (matching) 30 inch barrel, rear sight removed to allow for a target aperture sight, breech marked Carl Gustafs Stads Gevarsfaktori and dated 1902 German nitro proof marks.UK RFD OR A FIREARMS LICENCE WITH CORRECT VARIATION 6.5mm RIFLE REQUIRED TO BUY THIS LOT.126cm longThe gun is in slightly below-average outward condition for this type of rifle which is normally found in very nice condition, having said this it is still in reasonable condition for a military rifle. There are lots of dents and marks to the stock, the butt plate disk stands proud on one side rather than sitting flush as it should do. The rear sight is missing. The blued finish is worn and there is light surface speckling to the polished parts. The action works positively with a strong-sounding spring. The bore is bright with no signs of damage or pitting, there is some wear to the rifling which is not quite crisp and starting to soften but there is still plenty of life left in the lands and grooves.

Moore of London percussion 18 bore side by side double barrel shotgun, 29.5 inch Damascus barrels with platinum lined breech and plugs each bearing touch mark reading Moore Patent London, scroll engraved actions, figured chequered stock with pineapple finial trigger guard. Section 58 (2) Antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18, age verification will be required if the lot is to be posted out.118cm long The gun is in nice presentable condition with a fair patina. Unfortunately, the barrels have problems. The right side barrel has swollen in two places and there appear to be light cracks within the Damascus patterning at these points. When sighting down the top rib, there is a noticeable curve to the left of both tubes plus ribs and the right barrel has probably blown out at some point warping the whole frame of the barrels to one side. The platinum and lead breech plugs are different in appearance on each side, the right one looking somewhat distorted. The bores are generally clean with some light pitting marks. The metalwork generally has some light pitting patches throughout. The actions work with strong springs, the insides of the hammers have some dents from being dropped on the nipples without caps. There are some very short cracks to the stock emanating from the lock are back towards the chequering, these are about half an inch long and look stable. There is a chip to the point of the forend where it meets the ramrod pipe. The stock has some scratches, dents, and marks. There has been some refinishing work to the steel furniture of the gun leaving some of the engraving a little faint.

The bore is crisp and clean with good rifling and no pitting. The action and cartridge riser work correctly with positive lock up and a strong spring. The stock as lots of dents and marks typical of a military gun, there are two dowel plugs just above the trigger guard. There are no splits or repairs. The butt plate has some pitting marks and corrosion.

Buyer must be over the age of 18. 139cm long The gun is in average condition with a nice patina to the stock but overall pitting to the metalwork, it is showing signs of age and use. The bore has pitting throughout. The action cocks and releases however the main spring is not very strong spring. The stock has the typical crack between the side nail and the barrel channel. There is a repaired crack straight through the forend on both sides of the middle barrel key. There is a spliced repair to the thinnest part of the wood in this area too.  There are lots of dents and marks to the wood stock which can be seen from the images. Some screw heads show signs of being worked, there is a crack to the trigger guard either side of the first screw hole. The ramrod is a replacement. The bayonet has overall pitting. 

J. Niell of Belfast percussion volunteer two band .451 Enfield rifle, 32inch barrel with Alexander Henry patent rifling bearing stamp to the knox form, fitted with bayonet lug and folding ladder sight, and Parker Hale tunnel front sight, double border line engraved lock with maker name, steel furniture fitted to the broadly chequered stock, tang mounted peep sight. Section 58 (2) Antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18, age verification will be required if the lot is to be posted out.123cm long The gun shows all the signs of recent use being held recently on a FAC and fired. The bore is very good condition with a crisp rifling pattern and only a few tiny and very minor pit marks. The crown is in good order although the barrel has probably been reduced in length to remove a damaged or worn out crown or muzzle. The barrel has some pitting to the exterior, mainly around the nipple area. The nipple is a modern replacement. The false breech and barrel have been refinished. The lock works correctly with a good spring, the trigger is has been worked on and it much lighter to use than a standard Enfield pattern rifle trigger would be. The ramrod is a modern replacement. There is some pitting and corrosion to the trigger guard, butt plate and sling swivels. The stock shows scars of another sight being fitted behind the tang, there is a spliced-in patch to the comb, and a section of wood removed just ahead of the nipple housing. There are some streaks to the stock finish from cleaning fluid that has leaked down the gun.

CZ bolt action 7.62x39 rifle, serial number C456079, model 527 Carbine, 18.5inch barrel fitted with iron sights, the action fitted with Picatinny rail, with one magazine, Czech proof marks. Together with 32 rounds of Hornaday Black 123 grain SST ammunition. The barrels ring when tapped, there are some light dents visible, to each tube, these are more noticeable when sighting down the outside of each tube and don’t show up prominently on the inside of the bores. The barrels are in proof and measure at: .727 right and .726 left against a proof stamp of .724. The bores have the occasional pitting mark to the insides, there is some pitting in each chamber. The blacking to the barrels is in good order with some wear at the muzzles and to the underside showing the footprint of the forend. The barrels are on face and tight on the action with no wobble with the forend removed. The actions function correctly with snap caps.The stock has been repaired at the wrist where the wood is thin, the repair looks to be stable, there is a spliced in repair to the edge of the forend. There are occasional scratches and dents from use but nothing defacing.

Remington Model 1100 12 bore semi auto shotgun, serial number L385770V, 25inch barrel with three quarter choke, two shot magazine.UK SECTION 2 SHOTGUN LICENCE OR RFD REQUIRED. 14" LOP The gun shows signs of a hard working life. The barrel is in proof and there are no dents visible. The bore is clean but there is a couple of corrosion patches. The metal finish externally is worn and there is some light corrosion patches scattered throughout. There is a small amount of wobble between barrel and action. The action does not feed correctly with snap caps, this might be due to the short length of the snap caps. We have not tested the gun with live ammo so cannot reliability. The pistol grip has to fault lines to underside which follow the grain line, the woodwork appears stable in this area and this may just be cosmetic. There is a chip to the corner of the forend where it meets the action. There are quite a few scratches and dents from use. The varnish to the woodwork shows signs of wear.

Flintlock 15 bore single barrel shotgun, 32inch Spanish form barrel, the lock fitted with a roller frizzen, chequered stock with scroll trigger guard.Section 58 (2) Antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18, age verification will be required if the lot is to be posted out.123cm long The gun is in tired condition with a dark patina, it shows significant signs of age and wear. There is overall pitting, too deep to polish out to the metalwork. The bore has pitting throughout. The action cocks and releases but not very convincingly and the mainspring feels weak. The side nail is a replacement but is not quite the correct size to hold the lock firmly into the stock. The ramrod is a replacement. There are lots of dents and marks to the wood stock which can be seen from the images. There is a restuck area and two splits to the wood surrounding the lock plate. Some screws are replacements, there is a glue mark to the butt plate tang where and attempt has been made to hold the tang snuggly down in the stock rather than it sitting above the surface level of the stock as it currently does. 

W. Richards side by side .410 shotgun, serial number 11112, 27inch barrels with 3 inch chambers, the rib engraved W.Richards Liverpool and Preston, boxlock ejector action with shaped back, finely engraved with floral groups and acanthus scrollwork, chequered stock with monogrammed cartouche. Together with a brown canvas case containing cleaning accessories. UK SHOTGUN LICENCE OR RFD REQUIRED. The case measures 75cm x 15cm, 14.25" LOP. The gun is in good general condition with small signs throughout of use, the finish to both metal and wood look to be original. A sympathetic clean could improve the gun. The barrels ring when tapped and there are no dents or bulges visible however there is one mark that could have been from a lifted dent to the top of the right tube (see image uploaded). The ribs both look good without signs of resolder. The bores are clean but there are some light shadows throughout from pitting with one darker mark in the left tube. The blacking to the barrels has some wear. There has been some surface corrosion which has been cleaned off. The barrels are on face and fairly tight on the action with only very minor perceived wobble with the forend removed. Flintlock 14 bore single barrel shotgun, originally a flintlock, converted to percussion and then reconverted back to flintlock, 36inch Spanish form barrel, the lock engraved R. Whitehouse, and fitted with faced roller frizzen, chequered stock with brass furniture. Section 58 (2) Antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18, age verification will be required if the lot is to be posted out. 130cm long The gun has a nice general aged patina to it and displays in a presentable way. It was originally a flintlock, converted to percussion and then has been reconverted back to flintlock, the evidence for this is that the pan does not line up quite correctly with the touch hole and the tail of the lock does not align perfectly with the stock.  There is overall pitting to the gun, this is heavier on the barrel where it would be too deep to polish out. The bore has pitting throughout. The action cocks and releases with a strong spring. The stock has the typical crack between the side nail and the barrel channel, there is a chipped-away section of wood where it meets the barrel on the reverse side of the lock. The butt has a filled hole and there is a chip to the toe. There are lots of dents and marks to the wood stock which can be seen from the images.

The barrels ring when tapped, there is a light surface dent to the right tube about midway which can be felt more than seen, there is a very light dent to the mid point of the left barrel. The barrels are in proof and measure at: .722 right and .721 left against a proof stamp of 13/1 (.719):The walls measure a minimum of .20 right and .21 leftThe bores have light pitting throughout the middle to the muzzle. There is the odd spot in the first half of each tube. The blacking to the barrels is in average order with some wear around the breech end. There are some light corrosion spots to the top lever. There is a very small amount of wobble between the barrels and action with the forend removed.The actions function correctly with snap caps.The stock is free from splits or repairs, there are scratches and dents from use but nothing defacing. There are small damages to the barrel wedge and escutcheon plates, there is also a small spliced in repair next to one plate. The stock is otherwise free from damages, there are some dents and marks.

The insides of the cylinders also have some scattered pitting marks.The blued finish is showing signs of wear in places such as the cylinder, right hand side of the frame, grip straps, and muzzle. The trigger guard has been reblued.There is some light surface speckling to the polished parts.The action works correctly with good timing, lock-up and a strong spring.The grip is free from splits or cracks, there are some small dents and scratches.Some screw heads show signs of being worked. The case has lots of dents, scratches and marks. It is structurally sound but the two rear corner joints are very slightly separating in small areas, this however does not affect the working of the box. There is a very slight warp to the lid but it shuts flat. The key does not work the lock but it cannot be removed. The lining to the inside has some spotted staining, it is worn through to the wood in small areas and there is a chip to the wood in one place. The section of lining which holds the screwdrivers is loose. The powder flask has a small dent and some scrapes and marks. The spring from the catch is missing. The bullet mould has lots of dents, scratches and signs of use, there is pitting to the steel sprue plate.

There are lots of dents and marks to the wood stock which can be seen from the images. Some screw heads show signs of being worked.

The action works correctly with a positive lock-up. The butt plate has some pitting. The stock is free from splits or cracks, there are some small dents and scratches. 

Ebrall Brothers Shrewsbury 12 bore side by side hammergun, serial number 53311. The gun has one barrel which is below the recommended wall thickness for shooting with full-power cartridges. 30 inch broadly patterned Damascus barrels, quarter and three quarter chokes, the rib engraved Ebrall Brothers Shrewsbury, scroll engraved action with traces of colour case harden, modern Birmingham Nitro proof marks. UK SHOTGUN LICENCE OR RFD REQUIRED.14.25" LOP The gun has one barrel which is below the recommended wall thickness for shooting with full-power cartridges. The barrels ring when tapped, there are two fairly shallow dents to the left hand tube as well as two more to the central rib. They are in proof and measure at: 18.4mm right and 18.6mm left, matching the proof stamps. The walls measure a minimum of .20 right and .11 left, (20/1000th of an inch is the recommended minimum wall thickness) The bores have some very light shadows of pitting.The barrels are on face and tight on the action with no wobble with the forend removed. The actions function correctly. There are two dents to the fence, as well as a small dent to the corner edge of the breech where it meets the fence. The gun has been carefully restored and is now in good overall presentable condition, there is some rebrowning and re-bluing work throughout. The stock is free from splits or repairs, are quite a few scratches and dents from use especially around the butt area. The forend has a crack visible to to the inside but not the outside, there are some chips to the thin part where the wood meets the barrels.

The bore has pitting throughout. There are two small dents to the right hand tube. The engraving to the rib is almost worn away. There is some light surface speckling to the metal parts and a dark brown patina exists throughout the gun.  The actions cock and release with strong springs. There is some forward and backwards play to the right hand hammer as it is not as tightly fitting around the tumbler axis. The ramrod is probably an old replacement. The stock is free from splits or cracks, there are some dents and scratches. The chequering is worn.

There is some light-speckled pitting and surface corrosion to the metal finish generally. The stock has lots of dents and scratches but there are no repairs or damage.

Browning 2000 12 bore semi-auto shotgun, serial number 14503C47, 26-inch barrel with 3/4 choke, two-shot magazine, Belgian proofs.UK SECTION 2 SHOTGUN OR RFD REQUIRED. 14.75" LOP The gun is in good general order showing light signs of use. The barrel rings when tapped and there are no dents visible. The barrel is in proof and the bore is free from pitting. The blacking and bluing to the metalwork is in good with some light scuffs and marks. The action has a strong and positive feel, it does not feed correctly with snap caps, this might be due to the short length of the snap caps. We have not tested the gun with live ammo so cannot reliability. The stock is free from splits or repairs, there are some light scratches and dents from use.
