A tall Worcester blue and white mug c.1780, the cylindrical form printed with Man Holding a Gun and Man Shooting a Gun, each hunter in a rural landscape and accompanied by a hound, fluted strap handle, hatched crescent mark, 14.3cm. These shooting prints appear to be confined to cylindrical mugs of varying size, but the more common Man Shooting Gun print is usually seen alongside a print of a man aiming a gun, while the second print on this example is far less common.

Madeira was an important wine in the history of the United States and was used to toast the Declaration of Independence. AN APPROXIMATE 60 BORE BOXLOCK POCKET PISTOL FITTED WITH A 2'' QUEEN ANN CANNON TURN OFF BARRELL converted from flint to percussion marked T.Richards, its walnut grip has silver wire inlay and terminates with a silver butt cap bearing a grotesque face, the barrel and trigger guard bear a worn brown patina, the grip has a piece of wood missing where it joins the action and the action fails to cock correctly, the barrel bears the makers initials CR and the private proof marks P and V, these indicate the pistols was proved at one of Birmingham's private proof houses before 1813, when its official proof house opened, by 1770 cannon barrel pistols were out of fashion but it cannot be dated accurately since there were two Birmingham pistols makers with the surname Richards and the same initial, both of whom made silver gun furniture

LICENCE)

A SMOOTH BORE .177'' DIANA MODEL 16 AIR GUN marked Made in Great Britain which later changed to British Made, these were made by Millard Bros Ltd in Motherwell, Lanarkshire between the late 1940's and 1974, it's marking indicates it was from the earlier period of manufacture, it has retained most of it's original blued finish, with some minor rust speckling on the barrel, the stock has retained most of it's varnished finish, it is in working order, it bears no visible serial number (PURCHASER MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OVER)

A WWI open faced pocket watch, the black dial with subsidiary seconds dial and Arabic numerals, the case back engraved with a military Crow's Foot and '88222C RA'; together with a similar stop watch, the case back engraved 'PATT 3 21703'; another open faced pocket watch and a set of Linnet playing cards with a Machine Gun Corps insignia.Condition ReportThe gold plated watch is running, the dial is cracked in several places and there is a paint repair at 9 o'clock.  The black faced watch is not running, the hands do set, the case has scratches to the surface, the illuminous paint is missing to the hands and on the '9' figure.  The stop watch is running and sets correctly, there are scratches to the case and the back cover is loose and doesn't close firmly.
