He studied film in London and worked on commercials before enrolling in Dundee University to study art. He emerged as the top student in the under and post-graduate programs there gaining a B.A. 1st class honors degree and an M.F.A. in Fine Art. Upon graduating he was immediately offered a lecturing post in Sunderland Art School. He has taught under-grad and post-graduate students for 20 years. Earlier in his career he taught an art therapy based course in a maximum-security prison. Scott is a nationally and internationally recognized artist.whose works can be found in the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, The Aberdeen Art Gallery, The Dundee Art Gallery, The Royal Scottish Academy, The Koyo Institute, and The Dublin Art Gallery, among others. In the US his works have been exhibited in the Silverstein Gallery, the Kravits Wehby Gallery, and in a touring exhibition Conversations with Jeff Koons and Frank Gehry. He received Scotland’s highest and most sought after scholarship, "The Alastair Salvasen Award" and used it to move to the United States in 1998. He started work as an adjunct at Hostos Community College in 1999 and became full-time in 2004.

Betty Hutton (1921 2007) American Hollywood Golden Age film actress, comedian, dancer and singer. She made her screen debut for Warner Brothers in 1938, was cast in the Broadway show Two for the Show in 1940 which ran for 124 performances and was made a star by her role in The Miracle of Morgan's Creek in 1944. Betty Hutton is probably best remembered for her roles in Annie Get Your Gun (1950) and The Greatest Show on Earth (1952). A signed black and white photograph, approximately 5.5 inches x 3.5 inches. She appeared in numerous films throughout the 1960s and 1970s, including roles in The Night They Raided Minsky's (1968), Machine Gun McCain (1969) and the British crime film Get Carter (1971), which established her as a movie sex symbol. She also starred in the British cult horror film The Wicker Man (1973) and appeared as a Bond Girl in The Man with the Golden Gun (1974). Her highprofile social life and her 1964 marriage to actor Peter Sellers attracted considerable press attention, leading to her being one of the most photographed celebrities in the world during the 1970s. A Great War M.M. group of four to Private G.Barlow, Worcestershire Regiment,Military Medal, G.V.R. (1658 L.Cpl. G.Barlow 1/7 Worc:R. -T.F.); 1914-15 Star (1658 Pte.G.Barlow. Worc.R.); British War and Victory Medal (1658 Pte.G.Barlow. Worc.R.). The star gilded on the obverse otherwise good very fine. (4)Footnotes:M.M. London Gazette 21.10.1916.For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty on the night of 21st and 22nd August 1916, when in charge of a bombing attack on enemy barricade at Thiepval. He was driven back but at once re-organised his party and again attacked, this time coming under heavy machine gun and rifle fire. He kept his party together and threw several bombs, but again had to retire. He then went back and brought his wounded men in. The following morning he again tried to take the barricade, but was again driven back. Private George Barlow served with the Territorials prior to WW1, he went to France on the 31st March 1915 as 1658 Worc. Regiment.
