Personally Signed by Gunther Krech KC U boat Commander U 558. Over ten patrols, mostly in the Atlantic and Caribbean, he sank or destroyed 19 ships. U 558 was sunk by US aircraft on 20 July 1943 Only Kptlt. Krech, the LI and three men from the gun crew survived. Günther Krech then spent some years in PoW Camp. There are some minor handling marks, scuffs etc to the metal finish. The bore is mint and clean. The alloy of the magazine has oxidized somewhat and could do with light cleaning for it to slide in and out of position smoothly. The forend and the stock are a little loose and can be unscrewed by hand pressure only.

Forsyth & Co. 8 bore wild fowling gun, serial numbered 3501 to the underside of the breech, 41.5inch barrel engraved Forsyth & Co. Patent Gun Makers London, platinum lined false breech, the lock with dolphin head hammer, engraved with scrollwork, the chequered stock carved with a cheek rest and fitted with scoll trigger guard, and engraved steel furniture.Section 58 (2) Antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18. 149cm long. The gun is in good general condition. It would benefit from a good strip and clean-up to look its best. The bore is generally bright and clean but there are a few shadows that can be seen, some light surface corrosion towards the muzzle, and the odd other spot that might improve with a good scrub out. The exterior of the barrel has overall light pitting. There is a tiny surface dent or mark to the platinum breech plug. The lock works correctly with a strong mainspring, as with the rest of the steel furniture on the gun, it has been reblued. One barrel key has a tiny chip to the edge. The butt plate tang sits proud of the surface due to wood shrinkage. The stock is free from splits or repairs. It once had a very nice lustrous patina which has dulled in places due to slightly damp storage. There are some scratches, dents and marks but nothing defacing. There is a short split to the horn forend cap, it still seems structurally stable. The ramrod is worn and scratched in places along the length.

Two ammunition cabinets, and one tall gun cabinet, also a Lee reloading press and some part die sets for .44, 303 ,and .308.Tall cabinet 127cm x 41cm x 23cm large ammo safe 51cm 35cm x 30cm small safe 17cm x 31.5cm x 28cmThe cabinet with the key pad on is in the best condition of the three. The key lock works correctly but we do not know the numbers for the key code. The small safe has some losses to the paint finish and other scratches and marks. The tall safe looks to be home-fabricated and it is not certain how well this would stand up to police inspection. There are lots of dents and scratches and rust marks. The locks work but they are very stiff.
Thomas Cook of Shepton Mallet 12 bore side by side hammer gun, serial number 4175, Black Powder proof only 28 inch damascus barrels engraved with the maker name to the rib, London black powder proof marks, the rotary underlever action is densley engraved with fine scrollwork, the locks engraved with gundogs, highly figured chequered stock. UK SHOTGUN LICENCE OR RFD REQUIRED. 114cm long The gun is outwardly in very nice presentable condition. The barrels ring when tapped, there are some light dents visible to both tubes in several places. The barrels are in proof and measure at:.733 right and .732 left against a proof stamp of 12 (.729) The walls measure a minimum of .22 right and .24 left. The bores have pitting throughout, it is heavier ahead of the chambers and just the odd spot towards the muzzle. Whilst some improvement could be made from lapping it is doubtful it could be completely removed. The barrels are on face and tight on the action with no wobble with the forend removed. The actions function correctly with strong springs. The stock has a repair just ahead of the wrist by the actions, it has also been extended, there is a small chipped away section of wood where the forend has gone thin at the barrel wedge area, there are occasional scratches and dents from use but nothing defacing.

Mint condition Greener GP 12 bore Martini Action shotgun, serial number G80112, 28 inch barrel with full choke, 2-3/4 chamber and Birmingham proofs.UK SHOTGUN LICENCE OR RFD REQUIRED113cm longThe gun is in almost mint condition looks to have been proof-fired only. The bore is bright and shiny, there is some light brown muck / surface corrosion just before the muzzle which would probably clean out without much effort. The action works correctly and positively. The metal finish to the gun is mint all over, there is a very light patch of pepppering to the polish of the breech block. There is one dent to the butt stock and some very light scratches to the forend of the gun but the woodwork is otherwise in very good order. A slight roughness can be felt to the woodwork which is due to oil deposits from the finish rising up from the grain.

There is overall pitting to the exterior of the gun, the action and barrel have some light vice jaw marks to them. The bore is generally bright and shiny, there is some very light peppering to some of the lands of the rifling just ahead of the chamber. The action works correctly and positively. The forened has a crack to running away from the metal end cap. There is a vacant hole to the underside of the forend where a sling swivel has been fitted. The butt stock has a split which starts at the join with the upper tang, there is a similar split running from the bottom tang. The woodwork has lots of dents, scratches and marks. Many of the screwheads are chewed from being worked.

English .410 single barrel shotgun, no serial number, 29inch barrel with Birmingham nitro proof and 76mm chamber, figured chequered stock.UK SHOTGUN LICENCE OR RFD REQUIRED. 13 7/8ths" LOP. The gun has been fully refinished and is outwardly in excellent overall condition with only minor scratches and marks to the wood and metal finish from use. The bore sadly has some pitting throughout. This is heavier towards the breech and will never be successfully lapped out. There are no dents to the barrel. The action works correctly and the gun is on face with no wobble between the barrel and the action. There are no splits or repairs to the stock, the only minor damage being a small chip to the wood where it meets the action just behind the push-down opening lever.

There is some very light surface corrosion spots dotted around the gun which would probably clean up with ease. The grip has been chipped. The magazine is stiff to remove and doesn't always lock back in place as tightly as it should. The slide moves forward and back under spring tension but it does not lock back and the acton does not dry fire.
Greener converted .22lr LSA Martini Henry rifle, serial number 1867, 30inch barrel with Birmingham proof marks, secured by two bands, one with bayonet lug, folding ladder sight, the action is stamped with the original London Small Arms mark and 1888 manufacture date below VR and a crown from when the rifle was chambered in .577/450, the reverse is stamped by Greener with the wording 'Converted for the N.R.A. by W.W. Greener', stamped with sold out of service arrows and '22 ammunition' UK FIREARMS LICENCE WITH .22 RIFLE VARIATION OR RFD REQUIRED. 117cm long The rifle is in dark sleeper condition and does not look like it has had much use for quite some time. It would benefit from a full strip and clean. The bore shows signs of wear, there is some scattered light pitting spots. The crown has been counter bored about 1/16th of an inch. The action functions correctly and positively. The metalwork has some light overall corrosion spots scattered throughout with occasional heavier spots such as that to the the action where it meets the woodwork on the right and side of the gun. The stock has been shortened and then re-lengthened, there is a filled hole where a sling swivel once was and a repair to the wrist where it meets the action, a typical point of damage to Martini stocks from being over tightened. There are lots of dents and light scratches. The rear sight looks to be a newer replacement, and the cleaning rod is an old replacement.

The stock is free from spilts or repairs, there are some dents and light usage marks but nothing defacing. The scope presents a clear picture and looks free from chips or damages to the glass. It adjusts correctly. The electronic function does not function probably due to a flat battery.
BSA Long Lee Enfield .303 bolt action rifle, serial number M84422625, 30inch barrel with folding ladder sight secured by two bands, the knox form stamped Fultons with Birmingham proof marks, fitted with dust cover to bolt, calibrated volley sights, the magazine secured with chain loop and fitted with cutoff. UK FIREARMS LICENCE WITH .303 RIFLE VARIATION OR RFD REQUIRED. 126cm long The rifle is in so called sleeper condition and does not look like it has been fired in a long time. The bore is very worn, whilst the rifling remains, it is very soft at the edges, especially at the throat area, it is a little stronger towards the muzzle but still shows some signs of wear. The bolt functions correctly, although the hammer needs to be pulled rearward slightly in order to engage the safety catch. The bolt face has a light primer pocket ring to it. The exterior of the rifle has a dark brown patina generally with light overall pitting. There are small areas of the gun where there is heavier pitt marks such as to the wrist joint and the barrel bands. There is some scratch marks to the metal and other usage marks. The stock is free from cracks or repairs however there are a large number of scratches, dents, and other marks. The underside of the forend has a long score mark to it from the barrel band being slid along the wood for removal. The top hand guard is lacking on of the retaining springs and consequently lifts up and off the barrel far to easily when any pressure is applied.

The bore is bright with a reasonable rifling pattern showing only very small signs of wear to the edges. The crown of the bore is good without damage. The edge of the muzzle has a scuff mark and silver metal is showing through the bluing. The action works correctly and has most of the original colour case harden. The triggers are set so light that the gun will go off if the butt plate is bounced on the floor. The stock is free from splits or repairs, there are some light scratches, marks from occasional use but nothing too noticeable. The rear sight is not original to the gun, the top hexagonal nut looks like it is a replacement.

Winchester Model 1906 pump action rifle chambered in .22 short, serial number 111002, 20inch sighted barrel, figured chequered stock. UK FIREARMS LICENCE WITH .22 RIFLE VARIATION OR RFD REQUIRED. 91cm long The rifle is in worn tired condition, there is some light pitting patches and some surface corrosion scattered around the gun. Some finish remains to the receiver but most is worn away from the barrel and other parts. The bore is bright and shiny with only a small very occasional amount of speckling seen in the rifling. The barrel has a filled hole and the rear sight has been altered. The action functions correctly but the rifle is only chambered for .22 short and will not feed .22lr snap caps. The stock is worn, with lots of scratches, dents and marks. There is a strange chewed area to the butt plate area and also two small filled dots to the wrist of the stock near the chequering.

There is some light corrosion spots scattered throughout the gun, and the bluing is fading to a brown in places. There is a short crack to wood stock at the pistol grip, however this does not appear to affect stability and function of the stock. The woodwork has lots of dents, scratches and marks. There is a deep scuff mark to the action face within the word 'international'. The rear sight is lacking a retaining bolt and will not stay locked in place.
