A Good Original Suit of Samurai Armour, navy blue cotton cord work with gold embellishments, with helmet depicting dragonfly motif, mempo and pair of stirrups, on wooden standThe armour presents in very original condition. We are loathe to dismantle it and remove it from its stand as it has been on its stand intact in the same position for many years. It shows some patination of age. The mempo has some paint missing in general, as does the helmet, some of the cloth armour to the right hand sleeve is damaged with some pieces missing. We believe that the best way to assess this is to closely view all the photographs in the condition reports, prior to bidding to satisfy yourself. This item has come from a known local deceased collector's estate. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/qfzpm6ia77n4n9tkywz82/h?dl=0&rlkey=bjv1p6yiygavd5myv8zkpfa5i Buyers should be advised that the images within this Dropbox link constitute part of the condition report.
