A German Gebruder Heubach googly eyed character doll, in later clothes, 21.5cm high/see illustration CONDITION REPORT: Hair loose, otherwise dolls head in good condition, finger digits complete but chips to paintwork. Legs and painted shoes in good condition. Also it would have had sleep eyes but these have been cemented to the inside of the head.
A Heubach Koppelsdorf bisque head doll, impressed 319.5, with googly eyes looking right and composition body, in a cotton romper and hat, 31cm high/see illustration CONDITION REPORT: There appears to be a hairline crack from the right ear lobe to the neck on both sides, may be the mould of course.

Schmidt-Heubach, Willy. Zwei weibliche Rückenakte am Strand. Öl auf Papier. Signiert unten links. Um 1930. Blattmaße: 36 x 51 cm.Willy Schmidt-Heubach (geb. 1887 Würzburg) studierte an der Kunstgewerbeschule in Nürnberg und München und unterhielt in den 1920er Jahren ein Atelier in Berlin, 1923 war er auf der Großen Berliner Kunstausstellung vertreten. - Verso auf Pappe kaschiert, etwas wellig, leicht nachgedunkelt und mit kleineren Randläsuren. - Dabei: Derselbe. Zwei weitere Gemälde mit weiblichen Akten am Strand. Öl auf Leinwand/Gouache und Aquarell auf Papier. 40 x 49,5 cm/36 x 45 cm. - Die Leinwand ohne Keilrahmen mit zwei deutlichen Knickspuren, teils etwas berieben.

Both dolls have damage to hands, one has a crack from the rim of the head. Marked to head '1902 - 4/0' and '370 A.M. 2/0 DEP Armand Marseille Made in Germany'. Heights approx. 19".
