Some light crazing to one side of loco, marks to cab roof and a few elsewhere. Wheels appear sound. Pony wheels are replacements (VG-E). Tender lightly creased at front L/h side, some chips & scratches. All tender wheels are incorrect – should be spoked, those on this tender are a mixture of styles and diameters! (F-G)

1931-5 E220, Hornby 20v AC electric 4-4-0 loco and 6-wheeled tender ‘Yorkshire’ LNER, black running plate, 234 on cab-side, ‘LNER’ on tender. LNER green lined white, one driving wheel might be a replacement, all wheels appear sound, collector spoons show considerable wear. Tender is complete with brake posts and handrails. Overall (E)
Hornby 0-gauge pre-war electric track, all boxed, overall (G-VG) but will benefit by cleaning, (BG) some boxes faded: 6 double track curves; 6 x double track straights; 12 x single straights; 6 qtr straights; one double symmetrical point; two each L/h & R/h parallel points; four each L/h & R/h 2’ points; one each ECA & ECR crossings.
Total repaint clockwork Hornby 4-4-0 loco & tender LMS Compound No.1185. LMS maroon in high gloss. Black running plate & smokebox. Wheels appear in good order. Underside of loco is signed ‘JHM 81.’ ‘1185’ on cab-sides sans serif shadowed gold. ‘LMS’ on tender serif shadowed gold. Ultra criticism would state a few specks of dust in the paintwork but realistically it must be (E-NM) as a repaint.

No.2 Special tender ‘Southern 850.’ Very few marks on loco (E) Box with ‘Lord Nelson’ green label (BE). Tender (E) Box lid has been badly damaged and repaired. Label ‘S.R. (E850) Code TE509’ (BG) after its repair.This loco and tender appear to be in original condition. Excellent quality probably due to being kept in the original boxes. No sign of restoration. All wheels are original.Appears to be ok, but some ‘stickiness’ in changing direction.
Six Hornby No.50 goods wagons: two McAlpine side tipping (E-NM) green (BE); low sided with meat container (E) (BVG-E) red with green label; low sided with furniture container (E) incorrect box for No.1 refrigerator (BF); Shell Lubricating Oil tank (VG-E) orange (BE); gas cylinder wagon (G-VG) green (BG).

A small quantity of mixed track 0 & 00 gauges. Two brand new (M) Peco Medium radius turnouts right hand SL-E791BH Electrofrog. Eleven lengths Peco SL700X 2-rail 0-gauge track, most appears unused. Ten pieces Lima curves. Some home made finescale track. 00-gauge – eight pieces Hornby curves, some Wrenn fibre based track.

Very few marks on loco but some light corrosion showing on r/h side at base of firebox. Cab roof has been repainted. Tender paintwork is distressed and whole tender would benefit from a repaint.
Small collection of Hornby-Dublo items: two EDL17 tank loco 0-6-2 69567 gloss & matt versions, both (G) with six tank wagons & BR(W) goods brake. Tank wagons all fitted with plastic wheels. The Royal Daylight tank is particularly fine with very bright gold and only a couple of minute marks. Overall (G)
