Carhill (mid 20th century), a collection of nine landscapes and seascapes and bird studies, titles including ‘Railway Station, Swine’, ‘Hornsea Mere’, and ‘Scarborough from Filey Brigg’, oil on canvas board, some signed, all titled and signed on reverse, dated between 1956-1964, unframed, sizes ranging from 5 3/8 x 8 3/8 in. (13.6 x 21.3cm.) to 8 1/8 x 9 7/8in. (20.6 x 25cm.). (9). Good condition

Hornsea pottery ashtrays by John Clappison, in the form of stylised birds, blue & brown glaze with black transfer printing, together with a Hornsea ashtray modelled as a fish. (4) Only one blue ashtray has the Hornsea stamp, the fish has an impressed mark. There is a very small chip to one blue ashtray and to the fish, see images
