A Regency porcelain inkstand formed as a boat, moulded with a figurehead, lion mask and with dolphin feet, together with a set of three Continental porcelain custard cups with covers painted in the Sevres style with alternating panels of garlands, wreaths and ribbons (4)Provenance; Michael Norman Antiques 1976, with facsmimilie of receiptThe main body of the inkwell is free from damage and repair, some crazing to the inside and gilt wear to the extremities. Two flat chips to the rim of the cover of the pounce pot. One inkwell cover with three rim chips. The other inkwell with cracks to the main body. All with gilt wear. Inkwell is 25cm by 10.75cm by 13cm. Custard cups in good condition, no damage or repair. These are 19th century. Custard cups are 8.25cm high.

W."; Together with Two Further Horse's Hooves, each as a table vesta, inscribed "Night Gown by Gown Boy by Blue Gown 1911-1919" and "Darkie Champion Cup 1909-10", both also inscribed "Rowland Ward Limited". Staining which could be removed with cleaning under the handles and inside the neck. The stopper has fading to gilt and pattern and also roughness the the base and chipping to one corner.

Some blemishes to the surface of the brass mounts, otherwise seems ok.

The top with geometric border centred by a brass plaque, the interior fitted with a silk lined jewellery tray, folding out to reveal a writing slope inset with blue velvet, with pen tray and inkwell, 29.7cm wide Condition Report: Some retouching to losses of veneers, mainly to top edges, some slight splitting to veneers at sides, lock has been removed and there is a loss to veneer at escutheon, some slight wear to interior and to tray. Minor surface scratching and wear overall.
