Base has cracking, crazing, firing faults, and has been drilled. The hardwood base is cracked and has chips. Both Staffordshire type figures have significant losses, crazing and cracks, and old restoration. Jasperwares and trinket wares show signs of dirt and use. Sow has dirt but appears sound, and Walton type figure has signicant losses and chips. All pieces have dirt, wear and scratches.
A Chinese famille-rose washbowl, a Samson porcelain armorial mug and an Oriental ginger jar decorated with prunus blossom, an Oriental terracotta teapot decorated with roundels depicting figures in a landscape, an Oriental carved soap stone tray and a small gourd shaped trinket pot CONDITION REPORTS Wash bowl has firing faults, wear to painted decoration, deliberate scratching to base. The mug handle has been broken off and restored badly, areas of loss to paint and enamel. Ginger has no lid, and has been drilled, has firing faults. Teapot has no lid and has significant losses around the rim and spout, paintwork flaking around top. Soapstone tray has losses, cracks and has been reglued. Gourd trinket box appears sound. All items have wear, surface scratches and crazing.

A GOOD QUALITY CHINESE KANGXI PERIOD PORCELAIN JAR, circa 1700, with a fine quality carved hardwood replacement cover, the sides of the jar painted in a good silvery tone of underglaze-blue with a continuous scene of ladies and playing children in a fenced garden terrace setting, the base with a six-character Chenghua mark, the top surface of the wood cover with fine pierced carving of plum blossom, 10.25in high overall with cover, the jar itself 8.6in high.
A VERY FINE QUALITY JAPANESE MEIJI PERIOD SATSUMA EARTHENWARE JAR & COVER BY RYOSAN, of square section, together with a fitted wood stand, the sides of the jar painted with finely detailed landscape and bird panels, some of the panels overlapping, within finely gilded borders, the cover with a circular panel of ladies and children, the base with finely rendered marks, 7.9in high overall on stand, the jar itself 4.7in square & 8in high to top of cover.
