After JOHN MALTBY (1936-2020); a stoneware pendant necklace formed of round beads, two discs and a triangular pendant, pendant height 3cm, total length 57cm.The pendant, discs and beads were made by Maltby but the necklace was created by Lucy Oldland utilising Maltby's fragments found stored in his workshop after his death. § John Maltby (1936-2020), a small stoneware dish, of rounded square form, the exterior glazed in tenmoku breaking to kaki, the interior with cobalt and wax resist decoration on pale oatmeal ground, impressed seal to base, 5 x 18.5cm; together with a John Maltby stoneware trinket box and cover, 5 x 6.5cm diameter (2)There is a very small nick to the inner rim of the base of the box, otherwise codition is good. Some crazing to the dish.

JOHN MALTBY (1936-2020) - a polychrome decorated studio pottery rectangular dish with stylised floral and lattice work decoration, raised on four bracket feet, bearing signature to underside, 26.5 cm long x 17.9 cm wide x 6 cm high (ARR) CONDITION REPORTS Has crazing to the glaze throughout. Some sort of brush marks to the leaf of the flowers in the vase. In need of a good clean. General wear and tear conducive with age and use to include some light surface scratching, firing faults etc - see images for more details
