(4) * Provenance: The Long Liza dish with Duveen, Liverpool wax seal to base. *Condition:- Long Eliza dish: Part of rim has been off and has an old stapled repair. No other faults.- Smaller dish with barbed rim and lady seated with fan: Two large pieces have been off the rim and glued in place. Chip missing from one break.- Phoenix dish: Two glued breaks to rim. One chip to rim to opposite side.- Floral dish: Three cracks to rim and glaze frits to rim throughout.

A Chinese porcelain twin handled baluster vase, Kangxi period (1662-1722), the stoutly potted vase with slightly waisted neck with twin beast mask loop handles, standing on a flared foot, the body decorated with four yin yang symbols above a floral and lappet lower border, the neck with lappet and taotie mask decoration, the foot painted with four beads, 8 5/8in. (21.9cm.) high. *Condition: Chip to loop of one handle and five small chips to edge of foot. No other faults.
A Chinese blue and white ovoid vase - horizontal six-character Kangxi mark to base, but probably later, the ovoid vase raised on octagonal foot and surmounted by a galleried rim, finely painted in dark blue tones depicting two birds, one on a tree the other a rocky outcrop, the neck and foot decorated with flowers, 10½in. (16.8cm.) high. *Condition: the foot with shallow chip to glaze, otherwise good.

Saucer has star crack and two glaze chips to rim.- Lotus saucers: Both good.- Floral saucer: 1in. hairline to rim.- Small tea bowl: Fritting around rim.
A set of three Chinese blue and white porcelain tea bowls and saucers, Kangxi period (1662-1722), the saucers painted with a central floral reserve within three ruyi shaped reserves painted with lake landscapes, below a diaper border, 4 3/8in. (11.1cm.) diameter, the bowls with conforming ruyi decoration. (6) * Provenance: Duveen, Liverpool.*Condition: Two saucers with a single glaze frit to rim, the other with glaze fritting around the rim. One tea bowl with single glaze frit to rim, the others good.
A large Chinese porcelain blue and white baluster vase and cover, probably 19th century, four character Kangxi mark to base within double concentric circles, boldly painted with a nobleman and his attendants conversing with a farmer in a fenced garden with rocky outcrops and pine trees, below swirling clouds, the short, upstanding neck with ruyi decoration and a double concentric line above the foot, the domed cover with similar rocky decoration, 16¼in. (41cm.) high. *Condition: Small chip to foot and two other very small glaze chips nearby. No other faults.

A Chinese blue and white double gourd vase, late 19th century, painted with females playing Go within a garden surrounding, four character Kangxi mark, 26.5 cm high. CONDITION REPORT: There are some small pin head and smaller sized fritting to the rim (approximately 5). There is a small glaze chip to the top of the rim. There is a very fine 6 cm long hairline crack within the glaze which is not instantly visible. Otherwise the remainder of the body appears to be in good order with no further cracks, chips or flaws visible.
Two Chinese blue and white vases, late 19th century, the taller example painted with figures in a garden surrounding beneath a pine tree, the onion shaped vase decorated with a dragon and Feng amongst clouds between a Ruyi head and false gadroons, both with four character Kangxi marks, 25.5 cm and 15.5 cm respectively. CONDITION REPORT: Both vases appear to be in good order with no obvious faults. They both appear to be free from any chips, cracks or defects. There are no signs of restoration.
A Chinese green and aubergine dragon bowl, six character Kangxi mark within two blue circles, probably of the period (1662-1722), decorated with two dragons chasing a pearl amongst clouds above a band of rockwork and waves, upon a turned wood stand. Bowl diameter 11 cm, height 5.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This bowl has been broken in three places. One large D shape has had a further break and there is a further larger break with a rim to almost foot rim hairline crack. On the larger break the right hand side crack from the rim veers off to the left but also a very fine crack veers off to the right at approximately 1.5 cm in length. The broken pieces have been glued at one point although the large crack is held together by five very small metal rivets.
A pair of Chinese blue and white blossoming prunus pattern vases, late 19th century, with four character pseudo Kangxi mark, 35.5 cm high (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: One vase has a 3 cm x 2 cm 'V' shape section which has been broken and restored. From the bottom of the 'V' there issues a 4 cm very fine hairline crack on the interior. Approximately 7 cm below the shoulder of the main body there is a very fine hairline crack which runs down towards the foot rim stopping approximately 4 cm from the foot rim then angling a further 4 cm downwards to the right stopping approximately 2 cm from the foot rim. The other vase has restoration overspray throughout the top of the rim and also a clear underspray on the underside of the rim. The body of this vase appears to be free from any cracks. Both foot rims are free from any chips, cracks or restorations. The vases are approximately 13 cm at their widest.
A Chinese blue and white ginger jar, 19th century, decorated with two boys lifting a large vase and cover on stand all against a blossom and bird ground, with four character Kangxi mark and applied Collectors Inventory No. 348. Height 25 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The cover has a thumbnail size chip to the interior rim from which issues a 5 cm hairline crack. There is a further 2.5 cm hairline crack issuing from the rim. The ginger jar itself appears to be in good order however there is a very tiny 3 mm long black line which looks to be slightly indented on the interior of the rim. Under close inspection it looks like a manufacturing flaw. Other than that the jar is in good order throughout with no obvious signs of chips cracks or restorations.
A pair of Chinese blue and white vases, late 19th century, each with a flared rim and decorated with landscaped panels. Height 25.5 cm. Two further Chinese sleeve vases, late 19th century, each with a slightly flaring rim, one with prunus blossom decoration, the other with panels of figures and prunus blossom ground, each with pseudo four character Kangxi mark. 31 cm and 25 cm respectively. CONDITION REPORT: One of the pair of vases has been broken in two leaving large cracks and adhesive residue. Its partner vase has a long crack running from the rim to halfway down the body. There is a small Y shape firing crack to the underside. Both rims are free from any chips or restorations. The two individual vases both have extensive interior overspraying and restoration all around the rims.
Two Chinese blue and white ginger jars and cover, late 19th century, one with prunus blossom decoration, the underside with two concentric rings and with applied collectors inventory number 114, the other with a dragon amongst clouds with two concentric rings to the underside and collectors inventory number 264. 21 cm and 15 cm respectively, and a 19th century inverted baluster vase, decorated with figures on rockwork, pseudo six character Kangxi mark to the underside within two blue concentric circles. Height 18 cm.
