A vintage collection of traditional Scottish dance clothing, paraphernalia, and documents, comprising a 1971 Shetland Industries Keswick wool kilt, in green, blue, black, orange and yellow, 32' waist and 26' long, with a silver Cameron clan kilt pin attached, brown leather sporran containing three copied of 'Scottish Country Dances in Diagrams Fifth Edition', inside each an invitation to the Wedding of John & Beryl or to a Lake District Scottish Dance event, a tan leather belt with ornate gold metal buckle, two pairs of black leather dance slippers approx size 7-8 and another pair approx size 3-4, on a cloth case ansa denim bag with a white mock bamboo handle. All in good used condition.

A Balmoral kilt in red, yellow, green and navy tartan wool, with black leather straps and buckle fastenings. A traditional six-tassel dress sporran, in black textured leather with white and black rabbit fur, having a silver metal thistle shapes plate across the upper part, popper clasp closure. Inside the bundle is an envelope containing tartan samples from 'Gordon Stobo, Highland House, Edinburgh', dated 1970.

Two Italian silver chain necklaces, one hallmarked for Arezzo, Italy and the other marked 925. A silver and amber cabochon pendant necklace, marked 925. A pair of silver frog cufflinks with chain links, marked 925. A Scottish silver mounted grouse foot kilt pin, signed Scotland to verso and surface tests indicate silver. Pandora bracelet measures 18.5cm. Frog cufflinks measure 1.7cm x 2cm. Grouse claw brooch pin measures 8cm x 3cm. Necklaces measure 45cm- 47cm. Total lot weight 47.2g. New Kingdom, XVIII-XIX Dynasties (Ca. 1350 - 1290 BC). A spectacular and well-preserved base fragment of a huge statue. Displaying a finely pleated kilt and carved legs. The statue depicts a pharaoh kneeling in the act of offering a ritual object to a deity, perhaps the god Atum. The craftsmanship is very detailed. A readable inscription on the rear pillar reads: "Beloved of Atum, ruler of Heliopolis". This is an exceptionally rare statue of fine quality and great provenance from one of the most intriguing periods of Egyptian history! Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC.A finely cast bronze figure of Nefertum. The standing male deity is depicted with the left leg striding forward and arms resting at the sides. He is dressed in a pleated kilt and adorned with a uraeus and a lotus-form headdress. Late Period, Ca. 600 BC. A cast leaded-bronze figure of Anubis in a classic striding pose atop an integral rectangular plinth. Anubis presents with arms draped to his hips, wearing a shendyt (kilt), with a bare chest beneath his prominent canine physiognomy. A pair of perky ears protruding from atop the wig, and the wig lappets drape down to his chest and frame the long muzzle. On the frontal part, there are traces of gilt. Ca. 8th - 7th century BC. An ivory plaque, likely Phoenician craftsmanship, carved in openwork, depicting a Levantine tribute bearer. The face framed by a short beard, is well-defined with large eyes and sligthly aquline nose. The hair is long, and the figure wears a short kilt. On his shoulder, he carried a small monkey whose hind legs are still visible. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.
