Large and unique or "unik" bowl depicting the story of Icarus with additional mythical motifs in purple and gold blasted glass, ca. 1960s-70s. When inspected under UV light, there is a 1-inch area that fluoresces to the left side of the face. Wear to the underside, consistent with age and use.

BERTIL VALLIEN FOR KOSTA BODA, GLASS BUST, CONTEMPORARY the bust painted in silver, with clear reverse revealing an interior mask, signed, on tapered marble base24cm highThis lot is in overall good condtion. There is some signs of repair to the central pillar attaching the base to the glass, but no loses of material or damage otherwise. The exterior face, to the front, shows some changes in the silver paint, but it is unclear whether this is simply a design feature.
