Kapteyn, two pages, 8vo, Groningen, 10th November 1904, to a colleague [Hermann Carl Vogel], in German. Kapteyn sends his correspondent a transcript (no longer present) of his lecture, explaining that it was made by someone who does not speak English ('hence the many corrections') and continues to remark 'The illustrations will be indispensable for you while reading. However, I do not own anything other than lantern slides. I had the first illustration copied from one of these slides. I had a few paper copies of the other two, though. They are very small but hopefully will be of help to you. As you can see, the lecture is very long. I have therefore greatly abbreviated it, but it will be published in its original length. The transcript will differ from the final version in a few minor points due to later changes'. With blank integral leaf.
