Original clasped Renaissance wood board binding covered with tooled dark calf with floral impressions which was rebound in the mid to late 19th century onto a lighter brown calf. Spine having 4 ridges. Inside each cover is the remnants of earlier books with much period handwriting. Green blue and white Cornishware, circa 1930s - 1960s, comprising large storage jars for Granulated Sugar, Raisins, Rice, Loaf Sugar, Sultanas and Currants, three small jars for Mixed Herbs, Cherries and Nutmeg, a flour sifter, two sugar shakers, a marmalade jar, a butter dish and stand, one milk pint jug and two plain jugs, together with one untitled cylindrical jar and a spare cover for a jar, black and green printed shield marks except the cylindrical jar with the earlier church mark (qty, damages) Condition:Marmalade Jar and cover - heavily stained, jar cracked and cover chipped. Raisins jar - Hairline crack to rim Small Cherries jar - large chip to rim, missing cover. Small Nutmegs jar - large chip to the rim, secondary hairline to riM Mixed Herbs - Large chip to rim.Plain Jugs - One missing handle. Milk jug - handle broken and re-stuck Generally throughout - several pieces with crazing and some lighter staining.
