A GILCHRIST L5 ARCHTOP ACOUSTIC GUITAR OWNED AND PLAYED BY JERRY GARCIAserial number 8099, built in 1980, tobacco finish, Schecter tuners, 16 inch body, 24.9 inch scale, in hard shell case.This guitar is the type of the acoustic instrument that Jerry Garcia is likely to have used during his numerous recording side projects with mandolin virtuoso David Grisman. Records show that this guitar was built by Stephen Gilchrist in 1980 while working in the repair department at Gruhn Guitars in Nashville—in Gilchrist's own words, 'A finishing school for an aspiring young luthier if ever there was one.'

A MOORE BROS BOWL the wavy edge dish with mounted bird to side, upon green painted wavy legs and flower pom pom detail, 19cm high, together with two white glazed Meissen groups one depicting a boy and girl with a bird cage and swag of flowers, the other of a girl playing a mandolin with a boy holding a flower wreath, sat upon corn stooks, 16.5cm high (3) Condition Report: bird broken to wing and beak, some petals and foliage broken. Girl playing mandolin missing fingers, boy missing something in hand. Some small losses of petals and leaves to both.
