Movement untested. platform look original. Dial is free from hairlines or damage. There is a rubbed name to the dial but it is illegible. All glass panes free from chips or cracks.
A George III Chinoiserie Japanned 8-day longcase clock, the 11" brass dial signed John Smith, London, silvered Roman hour and Arabic minute chapter ring, mask head spandrels, subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture and ringed winding hole, the black lacquered case with flat topped hood, overhanging cornice top, the long trunk door fitted with circular lenticle, decorated with Chinoiserie inspired motifs, Condition: Weight pendulum and winding key present. Door slightly bowing. Rubbing chips and wear to lacquer decoration. lacquer and gilt decoration to sides very faded. 11" square brass dial. Movement most likely associated. The seat boarrd has been raised up on two blocks and the dial sits to one side with a gap to top and side. Glazed door aperture 12". Two moulding strips to side of hood detached but present. movement untested

Movement untested. Lock for rear door detached but present. Front door locked. Dial repainted, crack to case front below dial and below brass grille.

A pair of late 19th/early 20th century Chinese vases decorated with birds amongst chrysanthemums, with moulded lion mask ring handles, both set with later electric lamp conversions, height of largest 40cm (2). CONDITION REPORT Both sold electrically untested. One of the fittings is a chrome finish with a white plastic mount and the other is a dull base metal with a Bakelite mount. Small areas of rubbing to gilt heightening on the lion mask handles and the top rim. Otherwise appear to be in good condition, with no obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration. Expected wear to the base of each. No apparent loss of colour to the enamels, no obvious chips or cracks. Not possible to see the neck where the light fittings are attached, but appears not to be damaged.

A Victorian 16th (The Queen’s) Lancers Other Ranks Full Dress Lance Cap or Chapka Constructed of a black patent leather skull and similar top with ribbed cloth side panels with yellow orris cord trim, a waistband of yellow and red linen. Complete with a red woollen rosette plume holder with a central button, supporting a white horsehair plume, and a brass chin chain (a.f) with a cotton and leather backing supported by lion mask mounts to either side. The die-stamped bronze helmet plate with battle honours. Interior of the helmet dated 1884, complete with black leather sweatband and waxed cotton lining (worn).
