A 19th century Manchester School of Medicine & Surgery silver presentation medallion, J. E. Terry & Co, London, 1829, 'This medal is awarded by Mr Turner to Mr John Pearson in testimony of his having distinguished himself as an anatomical student of the first class' session of 1827 & 1828, in original Morocco leather case, 6cm. Sold with a watercolour on ivory miniature portrait of John Pearson attributed to Tom Faed verso, 11cm x 9cm overall. Thomas Turner was an English surgeon who established a medical school in Manchester.
A Chinese imperial yellow cushion cover, circa 1800, the central section finely embroidered in polychrome silks with a Shou medallion encompassed by five bats/WuFu amidst ruyi clouds, surrounded by the Eight Buddhist Treasures, bajixiang, all within scrolling floral and peony sprays, blue key-fret detailing and within interlinked borders interspersed by two swastika, wan, the lower section embroidered with a fish pair, Yu, and five further bats amongst scrolling foliage and blossoms, 71.5cm x 50cm, with matching tacked arm section covers, 14cm long (Some staining) CONDITION REPORT: PLEASE SEE FURTHER IMAGES FOR CLARIFICATION.Generally in good condition however there is a stained area to the lower section approx 23cm W x 16cm H and also a circular stained section to the left of the central medallion, approx 2cm wide. The cover does show some fading to the edges however the central colour is rather vibrant. There are some loose threads and sections to the silk embroidery missing. Edges frayed. Some creasing. Attached arm pads creased and grubby with some staining.DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU ARE SATISFIED WITH THE CONDITION.

A 19th Century walnut and parquetry inlaid box with a central mother of pearl medallion, together with a fruitwood and mahogany banded writing slope, African beaded jewellery and a brass pot CONDITION REPORTS The walnut and parquetry box has some fading and discolouration throughout, areas of inlay are missing especially to the escutcheon. Various knocks, bumps etc. Box appears to be locked and unable to open. The fruitwood writing slope has pieces of veneer missing, several splits especially noticeable to the top as well as staining, discolouration etc. throughout. The interior appears to be missing various pieces, the lock appears to be a replacement. Unabel to open the bottom drawer as cannot remove the holding pin. Key escutcheon appers to be missing as does the key. Metal pot has surface scratches, patination etc. throughout. Beadwork - some areas of beading is missing and broken in various places and some have had crude repairs. All have wear and tear conducive with age and use - see images for further details.

An 18th Century style flintlock muzzle loading pistol, the engraved barrel stamped with proof marks "DP beneath a crown", the side lock indistinctly inscribed "N Dupont ?", the woodwork with all over brass inlaid medallion and scrolling foliate decoration, 49 cm long overall CONDITION REPORTS This may be a copy. Unsure on precise date. The action appears to work on full cock but stays on half. Barrel length 32 cm. Barrel nicely decorated though with wear to the decoration. All metal work very yellowed which may be due to either dirt or previous varnish yellowing as some scratch marks appear to go through to a greyer metal surface.
