A pair of 19th Century Meissen figures modelled as Malabar Musicians, after the 18th Century original modelled by Friedrich Elias Meyer, both in patterned, burgundy and blue dress with straw hats, the lady with a lantern on her back and playing a hurdy-gurdy, the gentleman with a box on his back and playing the guitar, both with painted blue cross swords, he incised 1569, tallest 17.5cm, restored.
