VERSACE; a cream Napa leather shoulder bag with gold-tone metal chain handle and Versace logo disc, and a detachable matching purse, 50 x 28 x 16cm.Additional InformationThere is some discolouration of leather around the chain handle, and on the body of the bag itself, and some pink discolouration on the accompanying purse. The lining has some visible signs of use with some small stains to the base.

A 19th century tortoiseshell sewing case, the stepped hinged cover with white metal plaque enclosing sewing accessories, length 14cm.Additional InformationTools with general wear indicative of use and age. The scissors in particular appear to have been repaired at one time with some solder repairs sticking out, with some further piercing to the moulded finish as well as tarnish and small dents to the sheath. Thimble with no visible holes, but signs of considerable use. Penknife blade with some nibbles and the blade does not full withdraw into the handle but sticks out at a potentially painful angle. The thread holder with similar general wear. Overall tarnish and some discolouration throughout as well as scratches, surface abrasions and marks. Please note that the box itself is in af condition, does not close fully, has numerous chips and losses to the tortoise shell, the tortoise shell itself very dry, some breakages and cracking to the reverse, the right panel to the lower section lifting, in general very heavily worn, with numerous areas of damage, as well as loss to the ivory inlay.
A Waterloo Medal 1815 with presumed later renaming to 'Lieut. J.W. Winsford 22nd Dragoons', on presumably replaced iron suspension ring and loop, heavily worn. Additional InformationWe have not been able to find a record of Lieut. Winsford on the roll, we are presuming this naming is erroneous and later or redone, as stated, there are numerous edge knocks, surface pitting, deep gauges and scratches, the suspension and loop appear to be iron or a similar metal with damage to the area around which it has been attached.

A large pair of late 19th century German cast iron foliate decorated pierced frames each centred with a metal plaque depicting the composers Beethoven and Mendelssohn, each 48 x 37.5cm (2). Both bearing numerous stamps to reverses.Additional InformationBoth of the upmost leaves on these frames are attached by a screw, that of the Mendelssohn plaque is quite loose, the other less so. Heavy general wear, with extensive rubbing to gilding, tarnish and discolouration, surface scratches and abrasions, deep build up of dirt and dust. Some firing cracks visible and some damage and losses to the smaller fronds. Both bear stamps and marks to the reverse. Height 45cm.
