1st Bn Coldstream Guards Campaign Medals of Lieut.-Colonel Sir Charles Arthur Andrew Frederick GCVO KCB Sir Charles served with the 1st Bn during the Egypt campain and was later appointed Master of the King's Household and an Extra Equerry to King Edward VII and to Queen Alexandra.Comprising: 1902 Coronation Medal, 1911 Coronation Medal, Egypt Medal, clasp Suakin 1885 LIEUT C.A.A.FREDERICK 1/ COLDm GDS, Order of Medjidie (small chip to crescent enamel), Khedive Star 1884-6. The group remains mounted as originally worn, with tailors details of Hunt and Roskell Ltd to the reverse. Lieut.-Colonel Sir Charles Arthur Andrew Frederick GCVO KCB alongside his military duties was attached to the Royal Household holding the post of Master of the King's Household and an Extra Equerry to King Edward VII and to Queen Alexandra and later to King George V. He died in 1913. His funeral was held on Christmas Eve and by permission of the King in the Chapel Royal at St. James's Palace and was conducted by the Canon of Windsor PAYMENT BY BANK TRANSFER ONLY

2nd Life Guards Attributed Waterloo and Military General Service MINIATURE Medal Pair. This pair are attributed to Captain Alexander McInnes of the 2nd Life Guards who oil painting portrait by Ramsay Richard Reinagle hangs in the National Army Museum London. Comprising: Military General Service Medal, clasp Vittoria, Waterloo Medal. These have been attractively mounted into a Spink quality Mahogany table frame. This frame would have at one time housed the full size medals and were mounted with a Victorian Life Guards pouch badge and a representation of the portrait. The miniature medals are unnamed. Frame Size 11 x 9 inches. Captain Alexander McInnes portrait is probably the most recognised of the period depicting an Officer of the Life Guards Waterloo Period. He was appointed a Cornet of the 2nd Life Guards in 1809, he became a Lieutenant in 1810 and Captain whilst serving in the Peninsula in 1813. Resigning his commission in 1814 he rejoined with the rank of Cornet and fought with the Regiment at Waterloo and took part in Uxbridge’s charge against d’Erlon’s corps. In 1821 he took the surname Nicholson by Royal Licence. He died in 1862 aged 82. PAYMENT BY BANK TRANSFER ONLY

Victorian Companion of the Order of The Bath Warrant of General Sir Allen Bayard Johnson Indian Army. This 1881 dated warrant appoints then Colonel Sir Allen Bayard Johnson to the Military Division of a Companion of the Order of the Bath. Signed by Queen Victoria. General Sir Allen Bayard Johnson KCB was first commissioned into the 5th Bengal Native Infantry in 1846. He saw service in the Second Anglo-Burmese War in 1853 and took part in the fighting at Donabew and the capture of Pegu and went on to serve with the Jaunpur Field Force during the repression of the Indian Mutiny being present at the Capture of Lucknow in 1857. French Cavalry Pattern Helmet. A fine quality example by B. FRANCK & SES FILS, AUBERVILLIES numberted 54. The gilt skull, with silvered line edging. To the front a silvered helmet plate embossed with a flaming grenade device. To the left side a silvered plume holder (incorrect plume glued in place) and to the crown, is a silvered metal comb, to each side floral leaf decoration. The front is with a Medusa head looking forward, from the comb a black horse hair brush plume. A pair of lion head embossed circular bosses support a set of leather backed brass chin scales. Pooma Horse, Secunderabad, & Sowar, Governor's Bodyguard Bombay, Ghaneshkind, all watercolours on paper, each signed and most dated 4/13 in ink to lower right corner, most titled in ink to lower left corner, some minor marks, generally in good condition, except for the final work (Sowar) which has some damp discolouration and loss to head and foot of the sheet, with partial loss of inscription at foot, each 32 x 20 cm (12 1/2 x 8 ins) or similar, matching 20th century gilded frames, glazed (50 x 37 cm)QTY: (6)NOTE:Walter Evelyn Cramer Roberts, Brevet Lieutenant Colonel 2nd Battalion (9th Foot), Norfolk Regiment served throughout the South African War (1899-1902), where he was wounded and taken prisoner at Paardeberg. He was twice mentioned in despatches (Queen's and King's medals). At the outbreak of World War I, he was sent with his regiment to Mesopotamia where he saw much fighting, including the taking of Basra, and was wounded at Shaiha. He was taken prisoner at the capture of Kut by the Turks on the 30th April 1916, and subsequently died of heart failure brought on by his two and half years imprisonment,
