Entitled "Homage to the Sun". Joan Miro aquatint on Arches paper. Signed in pencil on the Lower Right. Marked on Lower Left "HC".Aquatint is textured and embossed in the center. Accompanied by an appraisal and Certificate of Authenticity from the Gallery. Removed from frame for inspection. HC stands for Hors Commerce. Before electronic printing, HC's were only available from the Artist. HC's and AP's (Artist Proofs) are very similar except HC's are only available directly from the artist. A HC is given as a gift to the artist for allowing the publisher to print their images.
