A Robert Thompson (Mouseman) Adzed Oak Stool, the rectangular top raised on octagonal baluster supports joined by stretchers, carved mouse signature. 40cm wide x 38.5cm high, 40cm wide.Very faded throughout with water marks especially to legs. Lots of scratches to top joints two stretchers loose.

Purchased by our client's Aunt in the 1950s, thence by descent. Structurally sound, minor (white) water marks to the top, historic crack to edge of right hand end. Other water marks to the drawer fronts and the under tier.
A Mouseman Thompson of Kilburn oak circular shallow bowl, together with a pin dish, each with typical carved mouse trademark. Dish diameter 16 cm (see illustration).The bowl is in good order with no significant issues. There are some minor marks to the centre possibly caused by a plant pot. There are light ring marks. There is also a small amount of liquid damage on the top lip. We think that all of this would easily clean. The pin dish has a small loss to the tail approximately 3 mm from the body of the mouse. There is a nibble of approximately 1 mm in width missing.
A handmade Colin 'Beaverman' Almack nest of three oak tables, largest table 76 x 46 x 40cm. Colin Almack 'cabinet maker and woodcarver' trained under Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson in the 1940's before founding his own workshop in the 1960's with his trademark carved beaver. Most Beaverman pieces in the sale with copy of 1993 and 1998 receipts.

Overall signs of wear, age and use. Stains/water and splash marks throughout. All chairs are sturdy and fit for purpose. Some wear to the edges and corners. Slight wear to some of the seats.
