A tortoiseshell and brass inlaid striking mantel clock, movement stamped Howell James & Cie, To the Queen, London & Paris, 34cm high 17.12.13, Case with damages to the tortoiseshell veneers and the brass inlay is lifting in parts and missing, some tortoiseshell veneers have been restored and touched up, back door is bowed, gilding has faded to the metal mounts, enamel dial cartouches with some chips, small cracks and the 8 o`clock numeral has moved and is loose, movement is dirty.
A French Rococo style porcelain clock, the case and stand, decorated with flower sprays on an apple green and gilt ground, two train drum movement, 40cm high 17.12.13, Case and stand with some minor chips, gilding is very slightly rubbed in parts, case with a large chip positioned next to the bezel at the 9 o`clock mark, dial with a hairline crack and some minor chips, movement needs cleaning, with pendulum and key.
A turquoise and diamond set ring, engraved to inner shank Douglas Jan 1899, finger size M1/2 and an early 20th century citrine and split pearl cluster ring, finger size O (2) Turquoise ring stamped `18CT`. In good condition. Citrine ring needs a professional clean up and the citrine itself is scuffed.
A green Japanned eight day longcase clock, dial bearing later inscription Roger Parkinson, Richmond, 227cm high 17.12.13, Case in need of restoration, hood with re-placed capitals to the front door, right viewing glass is missing, front door glass is cracked, case with mouldings missing, decoration faded, trunk door has faded, dial needs cleaning, minute hand is later, dial plate with one vacant hole positioned behind the chapter ring at 7 o`clock, this would possibly indicate the dial has been later added to the movement, date aperture is not functioning due to a wheel missing off a post to drive the date wheel, no pendulum and no weights, movement needs cleaning. 227cm high without finials. Date mechanism will not work when the wheel is fitted. Needs work. No pendulum, no weights. The moon dial and date ring move freely when moved manually
