A pair of Paris porcelain style vases, 20th century, of urn form with twin handles modelled as angels, the bodies enamelled with floral reserves against a pink ground, gilt highlights throughout, each 46cm high, with a further pair of similarly decorated vases with gilt swan's neck handles, 28.5cm high (4) CONDITION REPORT:All pieces show minor surface wear, fine surface scratches and rubbing to the gilt highlights, but no obvious chips, cracks, crazing or restoration. One of the taller vases shows a small loss approximately 4mm long to the glazed finish of the neck.

A Sevres Chateau des Tuileries plate, painted with a courting couple after Watteau, signed, printed marks, 24cm diameter, together with an early 20th century Coalport porcelain basket, painted with flowers and a Paris porcelain cabinet cup and saucer, with gilt borders (3)All three are dirty, with overall light general wear. Cup has a chip to the rim, with associated crack. These were removed from a local house move.

Circa 1880, with Sevres style porcelain panels, mounted with two cherubs, the movement by W Oppenheim, Paris, height 32.5cm.The clock appears to be overwound and does not strike at present.The rear door does not close properly, there is a hole at the front of the case, so there is presumably something missing.There are a few small chips near the winding holes.

A group of five porcelain soup plates, 19th century, possibly Paris, decorated with scattered flowers with gilded rims, to include one plate with blue sprigs to the well and a garland to the border, each approximately 24cm diameter (5) (VAT charged on the hammer price)Condition Report: The plate with blue sprigs has a chip to the rim and hairline crack through the well, and wear to the footrim. Chips to the rim of three plates, hairline cracks through the well of two plates, firing flaws to the underside of one plate, wear to gilding throughout.

A porcelain bowl with a brown glaze to the exterior, with gilt floral borders around the rim, and a spray of flowers to the interior. Marked, 'Dore a Sevres, 90, S84', and with a gilt metal base stamped 'A Risler & Carre, Paris'. Bowl 18cms diameter, 8cms high (9cms high with stand). *CR Bowl, rings nicely, touch of wear to footrim but minor. Stand, couple of dents to the outside of the stand.

A FRENCH RESTAURATION ORMOLU AND PARIS PORCELAIN ARCHITECTURAL MANTEL CLOCK WITH CENTRE SECONDSBOURDIN, THE CASE ATTRIBUTED TO JEAN FRANCOIS DENIERE, PARIS, CIRCA 1830The eight-day two train bell striking movement with visible pin-wheel deadbeat escapement incorporating unusual pivoted pallets to the backplate stamped BOURDIN, A PARIS to centre over part obscured Pons MEDAILLE D'OR, 1827 to lower margin, The silvered two-piece Roman numeral dial engraved Bourdin H'r. du Roi, RUE DE LA PAIX to centre and with pierced gilt hands, the architectural case finely cast with scrollwork upstand to the fish-scale tiled hipped 'roof' over generous corbelled cornice, the front and sides inset with panels polychrome painted with Neo-classical motifs over generous stepped skirt base decorated with further conforming panels 54.5cm high, 30.5cm wide, 17cm deepProvenance:By repute previously the property of the prolific architect, garden designer and author Sir Reginald Theodore Blomfield RA (1856-1942).The present lot can be very closely compared to an almost identical example sold at Christies, New York IMPORTANT EUROPEAN FURNITURE, CERAMICS, AND CARPETS, 21st November 2008 (lot 139) for $50,000 including a matching pair of garniture side pieces.Jean-Francois Deninger, called Deniere, was one of the most important bronziers of the first half of the 19th century. He entered into partnership with Francois Mathelin in 1797 with whom he established a substantial workshop which employed over 200 workers during the Empire period. Amongst Deniere's clients were the duchess de Berry and Louis Philippe, the duke of Hamilton, Ferdinand VII of Spain, William II of Hesse, William II of Holland, Tsar Alexander II of Russia. They were also commissioned to finish some of the bronze work for the redecoration of the White House in Washington and the mounts for Charles X coronation coach in 1825. By the time Louis-Philippe was on the throne the workshop had expanded to around 400 workers.Condition Report: Movement is in relatively clean working condition with no visible evidence of alteration or noticeable replacements. We have not tested it for accuracy of timekeeping and would advise a precautionary gentle clean/service. The dial has overall even mellowing/oxidation to the silvering; the hands appear undamaged the bezel/surround has some patchy discolouration to the gilding. The case is in very fine original condition retaining good strong gilding with well-defined burnished highlights. There are a few slight areas of spotting and minor edge wear to the edges of the lower skirting. The rear is finished flush and has some overall noticeable oxidation coming through the gilding. The porcelain panels are free from visible faults (including noticeable rubbing) except for a very small area of edge wear to the extreme top left corner of the lower left front panel (within the upper part of the skirting); this is only visible on very close examination.Clock is complete with a pendulum (probably not original) and a winding key. All lots are available for inspection and Condition Reports are available on request. A NEAR SET OF FOUR LOUIS XV ORMOLU THREE BRANCH WALL LIGHTS IN THE MANNER OF JEAN-CLAUDE DUPLESSIS, MID 18TH CENTURY The bras de lumière of three branch form with foliate scrolling stems and nozzles, fitted for electricity slight size variance but approximately-the gilt metal 65cm high, 43cm wide, 88cm high overall Provenance: An Important Collection from a Cadogan Square HousePerrin Antiquaires, Paris, acquired in 1998. A pair of very similar design, with richer detailing to the edge furls and with the 'C' couronné poinçon, is in the Wrightsman Collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York (1971.206.30-31). As well as being the Royal goldsmith, Duplessis was director of the Vincennes porcelain factory and later Sèvres. Among his most famous designs for gilt bronze are the elaborate and rich mounts for the Bureau du Roi in Versailles by Oeben and Riesener. Literature: Hans Ottomeyer/Peter Pröschel, Vergoldete Bronzen, Munich, 1986, p. 143, ill. Condition Report: Now wired for electricity. The floral pans with some slight variances in design, some sitting off centre to their stems. Some old repairs to floral elements notably to tops. Almost certainly re-gilded and with some drilled holes and evidence of earlier rewiring. Will require electrician testing and probably re-wiring. An unusual French porcelain hall lantern, late 19th Century, probably by Samson of Paris, in 'Companie des Indes' style, decorated with Famille Rose flowers and sprigs with three square windows and pierced scroll apertures to the shoulders, brass mounts, with glazed base, brass suspension loop, 50cms high.
A late 18th/early 19th century "Breguet a Paris" key wind open face pocket watch, with gilt fusee verge movement with engraved bridge and silver regulation, the dial white enamel with Roman numerals and outer minute divisions, winding at 2. The case gilt and with hand painted porcelain plaque also jewelled. Movement diameter 33 mm, case 42 mm. NOTE: Verge chain detached and possibly snapped. Whilst this is a period pocket watch items marked "Breguet a Pairs" from this period were not manufactured by Breguet (see illustration).
