Alfred Wainwright six sketchbooks Bowland, Peak District, Eden, South Wales, North Wales and Wyre. (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: None of these books have prices, two are priced clipped, two have the outline of a sticker and two are unmarked. All six sketchbooks show signs of wear, the covers to three are particularly worn with small tears to the reverse side titled “Wear Sketchbook”, “South Wales Sketchbook” and “Bowland Sketchbook”, each also with some brown staining, pages all intact to each book. Some with pencil or biro inscriptions.

Burrow (British School early 20th century), The chapel From Brewhouse Yard Eton, signed in pencil lower right, etching. 28 x 20 cm (SH), together with a further four prints, one depicting the long chamber at Eton in the mid 19th century, a map of Rutland, engraving with later hand colouring, a map of Northamptonshire engraving with later hand colouring and a copper plate engraving a view of Eton College in Buckinghamshire, engraved for the modern universal British traveller. All various sizes by different hands (5). (see illustration).

A hallmarked silver engine turned cigarette case by Alfred Dunhill Ltd., with original suede pouch and box, London 1928, 6oz; a hallmarked silver engine turned propelling pencil The cigarette case has a hidden closure mechanism effected by sliding the hinge vertically. There are scratch marks where the hidden clasp is located on the front edge of the case. On closure there is about 1mm play at the front edge. The pencil (not Dunhill) appears in G C

A gold and enamelled propelling pencil by Sampson Mordan & Co, the outer sleeve enamelled with colourful dragons over a guilloché ground, with anthemion border below, the gold shaft signed ‘S. MORDAN & CO’, on ring suspension loop, fully extended (including ring suspension) length 7.5cm. £200-£300 --- Condition Report The extension mechanisim a little loose. Enamel work in good condition. Some nicks to the gold of the ring suspension loop, Weight 12.5gm.
A 9ct gold perpetual calendar propelling pencil by Sampson Mordan & Co., the tip signed, and stamped ‘9ct’, the faceted shaft with engine-turned decoration, with press action, length extended 11.5cm. £120-£150 --- Condition Report Overall good condition, slight wear only, enamelled letters and numerals still clear. Gross weight 24.1gm.
Contemporary School : Surrealis Modelquo Tidiano - 10 Litogfafie, a set of ten unframed lithographs in colour by an unidentified hand, each signed in pencil by the artist, also dated and numbered, together with the lithographic frontispiece in colours as well as the index sheet (monochrome), so 12 sheets in all, contained in a red folio bearing the unidentified signature of the artist on the front, each sheet size 76 cm x 56 cm.
