Great Britain collection 1840 to 1990, housed in Stanley Gibbons album. Queen Victoria and four kings - predominantly fine used with usual condition issues. Collection starts with 1840 Penny Black (3 margins) and two Penny Blue (3 margins). 1847 embossed issues are present but cut to shape. Lilac and green set with some CDS present. 1883 high values to 10 shillings, 1887 Jubilee issues to 1 shilling and first Edward VII issue to 10 shillings. 1934 Seahorses re-engraved set to 10 shillings and George VI 1937 - 48 set to £1 complete including dark blue 10 shillings. Much of the Queen Elizabeth II post decimal is mounted mint estimate £50 face. (1 Book)

SG8 Penny Red imperf - just touched top left. 1887 Jubilee issue to 1 shilling. 1902 - 13 issue to 1 shilling, 1913 -18 'Seahorses' issues to 10 shillings, 1934 re-engraved 'Seahorses' to 5 shillings (5 shillings short perf at bottom). Second album all mint issues with some decimal postage post 1970.Also in this box are world issues all periods housed in albums and country envelopes - some better areas noted including Hong Kong and France. Great Britain collection housed in Windsor album starting with a Penny Black, 2-3 margin with a fine used red Maltese Cross. Continues with a Two Penny Blue - four margin and a scattering of Victoria and four kings both mint and used. Lot also comes with a small stock book of Penny Reds, several loose pages of mainly Victorian stamps and two Victorian covers one being a mourning cover.
Great Britain collection of stamps and covers 1840 - 1990, predominately used, housed in three (3) albums, two (2) stockbooks and six (6) cover albums.Stamp collection commences with a four margin (close top left) Penny Black, imperf Two Penny Blue (condition issues) and four imperf Penny Reds. A good run of issues with usual condition issues, a good fine used example of the George VI 10 shilling dark blue noted, and Queen Elizabeth II values to £1. Cover collection commences with two, 1911 First UK Aerial Posts covers with CDS. A 1934 Apex Exhibition cover with nicely struck handstamp, two 1933 India covers, one being a 1st flight cover for Imperia Airlines from Rangoon. Also noted two 1931 Heligoland postcards - cancelled with German stamps addressed to England. Later cover issues include eleven GB coin covers, some RAF covers and then a general run of GB FDCs. Three pages of used Victorian stamps including the 1897 Jubilee issue to 1 shilling. Many Penny Reds and Two Penny Blues of varying condition, Edward VII issues to 5 shillings - high values either heavily mounted or with condition issues. Collection continues through George V used and includes the re-engraved seahorse issue of 1934 to 10 shillings. Queen Elizabeth II stamps are predominately mint with many stamps U/M including wildings to 1 shilling.

Winston Churchill autograph check. The check dated 1948 from The Yorkshire Penny Bank Limited is made out to Winston Churchill for the sum of £100. It has been countersigned by Churchill to the reverse presumably to bank it. Black wood frame glazed to both sides. W 16cm, H 9cm. HARDEN MARCIA GAY: (1959- ) American actress, Academy Award winner for Best Supporting Actress in 2000 for her role as Lee Krasner in Pollock. Signed colour 8 x 10 photograph of the actress in a head and shoulders pose. Signed in bold black ink to a light area of the image. A printed label neatly affixed to the verso indicates that the signature was obtained in person at the stage door of the Chichester Festival Theatre following a performance of Sweet Bird of Youth on 17th June 2017. Together with two signed 8 x 10 photographs (one colour) by two of the Best Supporting Actress Oscar nominees of 2000 comprising Kate Hudson (for her performance as Penny Lane in Almost Famous) and Julie Walters (for her performance as Sandra Wilkinson in Billy Elliot). Both are signed in blue inks, Walters in fountain pen ink, to the images (Hudson across a dark area) and neither are inscribed. VG to EX, 3
