A Compact Mahogany Medicine Chest, English, mid-19th century,the hinged lid with recessed brass handle opening to a set of fourteen glass medicine bottles, drawer to the base with recessed brass handle and holding pin, opening to a glass measuring tube and two metal pill boxes, 7 1/2in x 6 3/4in x 6 3/4in (19cm x 17cm x 17cm) Footnotes:One of the most fashionable styles of medicine chest was the hinged trunk-lid, with a single drawer. H.M.Queen Elizabeth (later H.M. Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother), fine 1930s Royal Presentation two colour gold, diamond and green guilloché enamel brooch with central crowned ER cipher within floral setting and pin backing in original red and gilt tooled leather case with gilt embossed crowned ER cipher to lid, retailed by Carrington & Co Ltd, Regent Street, London. The brooch approx 3cm wide. George III silver tea urn or samovar, with engraved foliate decoration, twin lion mask ring handles, an ivory mounted tap and slip in cover of waisted form, with bell finial, on an oval pedestal base, with four ball feet, interior with separate hot iron reservoir and iron (London1801). Robert Hennell I & David Hennell II. approximately 37ozs weighable silver. 37cm overall height.Condition report: General overall condition is good, some surface scratching and minor denting. Main body has had some repairs around top rim and is discoloured in places below where cover fits, left lion head may have been resoldered and there is a pin hole at top of mane, area where tap enters body has been repaired, feet have been resoldered and base does not sit square. Ivory tap handle is cracked. Cover inner rim is slightly distorted, there are remains of a maker's mark but it is very rubbed and basically illegible. Inner iron reservoir and cover are scratched and dented, frame may have been repaired. Iron is rusty. Marks in base are clear.
Late William IV silver mustard of drum form with Gothic Arch decoration, blue glass liner, hinged cover with engraved armorial crest and double scroll handle (Sheffield 1837) Henry Wilkinson & Co. together with a contemporary silver mustard spoon (Birmingham 1948). All at approximately 3ozs.Condition report: General overall condition good, some surface scratching and wear, engraved crest on cover very worn, decoration to top of handle worn, no other evidence of any major damage or repair. hinge pin loose, cover slightly distorted. Glass liner good. Marks rubbed but legible.

A 19th century cut glass pedestal sweetmeat bowl, height 21.5cm, together with a pair of late 19th century cut glass sweetmeat jars and covers, height 22cm (3).Additional InformationEach with the usual scratches and wear to the bases, minor chipping to the rims and edges, also to the cut detail, one of the sweet meat jars with a large chip to the top rim, also large chips to the foot rim, the pedestal has also been broken off and has been held together by a pin, the second jar with a large chip to the corner foot rim.

Additional InformationVery small glaze chip to the rim of the vase, some light surface scratches and scuffs throughout, crazing to the painted sections. The WMF dish is sadly been attempted to be polished to the rectangular platform leaving it now two tone and removing the original finish. Otherwise ok.
