World Cup 1930. Official Winner plaque - for 1st World Cup 1930 in Uruguay. Silver, m/c enamelled, with official poster motif. Size 3.2x1.5 cm. As the FIFA produced only 1 single medal that was awarded representatively to Nasazzi, the executive comittee of the WC decided to have this medal produced that was handed out to all players of the team. The original box is even more rare! Inside lining missing! --2 minimal surface splinterings; silver tarnished.
World Cup 1970. German Plaque of Honour - DFB plaque of honour fo members of the German delegation of the Football World Cup in Mexico 1970. Blue leather wrapped casket, embossed the golden DFB emblem and inscription ""Mexico ´70"" (16x13x3 cm). Wrapped with verlvet on the inside with a china medal of Paulskirche Frankfurt (11x8 cm). Only officials and members of the delegation were given this present at the official reception of the German World Cup 1970 team at the DFB.

A good burr walnut marquetry inlaid and ormolu mounted side cabinet, the stepped moulded top above frieze centred with a mask inlay and floral sprays above two doors set with ormolu mask detail flanked by caryatid uprights above a stepped plinth base, bearing plaque inscribed "William Smee & Son, Manufacturers, 6 Finsbury Pavement, London", width 128.5cm, height 110cm, depth 44cm. CONDITION REPORT: A few old dents to the top surface. Some of the veneer on the right side and left side has split (see additional images). A few old splits to veneer on front (see additional images) but generally in good condition.
A late 19th century French trunk with simulated pigskin cover reinforced with wooden straps, and copper edges and corners, with two carrying handles and with a decoration of studs to the hinged lid, and a plaque engraved "P.D. Nancy", the interior covered in ticking, including two removable shelves and a divided base, width 79cm, height 44cm, and a metal plaque stating "Ferme la porte SVP" (2).
