A lady's 18 carat gold fob watch, case with Chester hallmark for 1901, 36mm wide, together with a curb link chain with applied plaque stamped 9cCondition report: Gold fob watch; no inner dust cover. A large and heavy, French 19th century, ormolu jardinière. Cast with foliate decoration below a border of fruiting vine and centred with a circular glass panel. The central semi-clad Classical-style maiden painted en grisaille and allegorical of music. Central lift-out tray. (71cm wide x 24cm deepest x 24.5cm highest)Condition Report: It is definitely Ormolu not painted. The liner looks to be original although it is very rusted and oxidised inside. once the liner (which the correct size) has been removed it is revealed to have a porcelain plaque in the centre as a blue crossed swords mark to the back. It is noted that the gilding is quite verdigris in places.
