A mid 18th century oak deuddarn cwpwrdd, probably Cardiganshire, the moulded cornice above a plain frieze and hanging pendants, in front of three quatre panelled cupboard doors, the base formed from three frieze drawers over two conforming cupboard doors, raised upon stile feet, 183cm H x 153cm W x 55cm D NB ?A Deuddarn of good quality from Cardiganshire circa 1780 to 1820. An almost identical Deuddarn is illustrated in Richard Bebb?s definitive book on ?Welsh Furniture 1250-1950?. It is photograph 823 on page 92 of volume 2.?Condition reportLoose board on top of cupboard, some play in upper door hinges, middle and LH door.Missing beading at drawer height on the LHS, small chip to beading on the RHS.A 7cm hole on LHS cupboard wall with tin plate repair, lacking moulding on both sides at foot level, front moulding loose.All feet with minor historic worm/wear, causing the cupboard to angle back slightly.

Together with Quality Street by J M Barrie, illustrated by Hugh Thomson, published Hodder and Stoughton, copyright 1901 with inscription to title page dated 1913. 22 delightful full page tipped in colour plates with caption plate guards, in very good clean condition with tight binding in blue gilt decorative cloth.

This lot includes a large blue and white meat plate approx 52 x 39 cms depicting a stately home with figures in the foreground, a blue and white sauce tureen and cover together with an attractive Spode jug painted with floral spray approx 14 cms. (6) Condition report: blue and white tea bowl has a vertical crack approx 3 cms, the tea cup has a very fine crack in the glaze and the other tea bowl. The meat plate is in very good condition.

A well engineered Stuart Turner No 9 horizontal mill engine. Built by the late Mr Duncan Laidlaw of Bristol, having cylinder 1 1/2 inch bore by 1 1/2 inch stroke, fitted water pump, connection rod with slipper guides, spoked flywheel and set on cast metal sole plate with wooden plinth. Stuart hand-feed pump. Engine length 28cm. The model is unpainted with polished bright work.

Four pearlware blue and white plates and two others, circa 1810-1890, to include Wedgwood 'Blue Claude', 'Pashkov Palace' and 'Ancient Greece' CONDITION REPORT: Ancient Greece plate has some surface scratches. Short hairline crack at 12 o'clock. Scattered staining and crazing.Other plates have minor surface scratches and crazing.
A French porcelain part service decorated corn flowers CONDITION REPORT: This is a composite service , some is Duc d'angouleme. One sauce tureen has faint hair crack visible to interior and two small chips to footrim. The stand is worn and has hair cracks. Other sauce tureen lacks cover, has several chips to footrim and one handle with crude rivet repairs. The stand is worn with chips and hair cracks to rim. Large tureen- faint star crack to underside. Rubbing to gilt rim. Cover has hair crack issuing from ladle aperture. Dish with wavy outline- noticeable stacking wear. Square shape dish- some rubbing to gilt. Sauce boat with integral stand- loop handle looks replaced. Two small rim chips. Stand has chips to shell handles at each end. Oval dish- cracked through with rivet repair. One circular plate with riveted repair from four sections.
