Mark on reverse very faint.

Verlaine (Paul) Recull Poètic, Prologat per Josep Millàs Raurell, letter B of only 2 manuscript copies on Fil Verjurat with an original drawing and an additional suite of proofs in black, text in Catalan hand-written in black ink with title, headings, initials, pagination etc. in colours by Josep Brun under the supervision of the artist, signed by Raurell at end of prologue, 14 monotypes with dry-point and brush-coloured over the plate by Pere Riu, with original unpublished watercolour by Riu signed and dated (very lightly spotted) and additional proofs of dry-points with delicate plate-tone, all loose as issued in original pink wrappers, uncut, board folder and slip-case (both rubbed, spine of folder crudely reinforced with tape, split to edge of slip-case), folio, Barcelona, Collecció la Bella Imatge, 1948.⁂ An extraordinary production, beautifully executed and containing Pere Riu's illustrations printed by an unusual process, with each plate individually coloured and stamped on a rolling press by himself in his own studio.

SHELLEY; three 'Regent' shape Art Deco trios, each decorated with bands, printed factory marks and numbered W12125, W12292 and 12624 to bases.Additional InformationGrey saucer pattern no. W12292 has chip and 5cm hairline crack, all three cups have hollow rings although no visible hairline cracks, same with the larger of the yellow plates, all with losses to the painted decoration, plates and saucers particularly with scratches, several with manufacturing imperfections and blemishes including the larger yellow side plate to underside in two places, all dirty.
CANADA; 1840s-2000s, extensive collection in albums, stock books and loose, strong Victorian including ranges of small and large Queen types, 1897 Jubilee to 20c mint, 1903 to 20c mint, set to 50c on registered cover, later including plate book blocks, officials, modern miniature sheets, good Portal History including pre-stamp with 1847 crowned circle 'Paid at Quebec' on entire money-letter, registered stamps covers, and much else, careful viewing advised.
