A White Leather and Two Tone Grey Striped Leather Armchair, of recent date, raised on polished chrome legs, 74cm by 78cm by 78cm; A Cream Footstool, to match, in dark grey and blue striped detail, raised on polished chrome legs, 78cm by 78cm by 49cm; A Cream Painted Cheval Mirror, 20th century, the bevelled glass rectangular plate within a ropetwist frame surmounted by an acanthus scrolled plume, all between fluted supports, on acanthus decorated cabriole legs with scrolled toes, 63cm by 49cm by 184cm; and A Cream Painted Single Chair, with caned back and overstuffed seat, raised on cabriole legs, 50cm by 40cm by 92cm (4)
POSTAL HISTORY COVER : PERU, 1872 envelope from Callao, Peru to Leeds, England. Franked with a Peru 1d green imperf issue and two GB QV 9d straw (plate 4) stamps & cancelled with three "C38" duplex postmarks. Has a Leeds arrival backstamp. Peru stamp has a slight rub & the envelope has a few minor faults etc. A rare item!
POSTAL HISTORY COVER : PERU, 1874 envelope from Callao, Peru to Leeds via Panama. Franked with Peru 1d blue-green imperf Arms issue and a GB QV 6d grey (plate 12). Has two "C38" duplex postmarks & a "Insufficiently/prepaid" oval cachet in red, a "1/-" due mark together with a Leeds arrival datestamp. Reverse has Callao & Bristol datestamps. A few faults, but scarce!
POSTAL HISTORY SHIP LETTER: ROCHESTER, 1865 entire franked with a pair of 1d reds, plate 87 with two Rochester duplex postmarks & addressed to London. The reverse has a superb early date for St Margarets Bank cds, where the item was posted & a London arrival cds. Fine!
