Franked with a Peru 1d green imperf issue and two GB QV 9d straw (plate 4) stamps & cancelled with three "C38" duplex postmarks. Has a Leeds arrival backstamp. Peru stamp has a slight rub & the envelope has a few minor faults etc. A rare item!

A few faults, but scarce!
POSTAL HISTORY SHIP LETTER: ROCHESTER, 1865 entire franked with a pair of 1d reds, plate 87 with two Rochester duplex postmarks & addressed to London. The reverse has a superb early date for St Margarets Bank cds, where the item was posted & a London arrival cds. Fine!
