Thomas Pace is recorded in Brittens as working 1784-1840. A longcase clock by the same maker was sold in these rooms on 2nd March 2004 Lot 446 for # 3200.

The inside is pasted with a presentation certificate from Tom Pear Senior to his son, Thomas William Pear, on the event of his marriage in 1910, it has remained in the same family since.
