A collection of four colour Polaroid photographs taken during Eric Clapton and Pattie Boyd's stay at bassist Carl Radle's home in Tulsa, Oklahoma circa 1977. Each photograph has been annotated in black felt tipped pen in Clapton's hand in the bottom white border. The photographs include Pattie on the phone to George Harrison captioned ‘ON THE BONE (JEFFRY)’, Pattie at the window captioned ‘CRUMPET’, a collection of records and an acoustic guitar by the fireplace captioned ‘NOISE’ and assorted bottles of alcohol captioned ‘RELATIVES’. Provenance: previously sold as part of lot 61 in the Christie’s Pattie Boyd Collection sale between the 8th and 22nd March 2024. Each photograph measures 10.8cm x 8.9cm (4.25 inches x 3.5 inches). The condition is excellent.
