A pair of late 19th-century French pedestal vases, (possibly Paris Porcelain), gilt decorated on a dark blue ground, with scroll handles, on a square base, 38.5 cm high.Top of the handle terminals on one vase have poor definition and may have been restored. Gilding generally good with rubbing to the edges of surfaces. The bases are covered in baize.
A French Napoleon III Sevres porcelain baluster base painted with scattered blooms and fruits on a Blu Celeste ground mounted with elaborate ormolu fittings of rams masks and winged cherubs. 36 cm high.Restoration to the vase, with one particularly noticeable area / glaze issue (see images). Mounts appear in good order, with some surface wear and pitting commensurate with age.
