Inside, it also has the optional Porsche infotainment system. ‘HXZ 9537’ is a 2.7-litre model with the odometer reading 164,000 miles, and the vendor reports it has been “subject to an replacement engine at 150,000 miles”. Both engine and transmission are described as being in ‘excellent’ condition. This mid-engined Porsche has had just one former keeper, and the 987-era Boxster has an MOT until June 2024. The Porsche Boxster was introduced in 1996, becoming the first mid-engined two-seat Porsche roadster since the classic 914. Codenamed 986, it was closely related to the upcoming new water-cooled Porsche 911 996, and quickly gained kudos as a result. The updated 987-generation Porsche Boxster followed in 2004, again closely related to the Porsche 911 997. It had an all-new interior, smoother styling and was now even more of a junior supercar than ever. In summary: · Smart-looking Porsche Boxster in dark silver · Complementary navy blue leather interior · Just one former keeper

Offered for sale by the only the fourth keeper, who has had the keys for more than five years, ‘MK09 USS’ comes with original owner’s manual and documentation. The SLK 280 is considered by the vendor to be in ‘good’ condition in terms of bodywork, paintwork, and the interior, while the engine, transmission, and electrics are rated as ‘excellent’. Showing a credible 98,000 miles on the odometer, this SLK roadster can provide the right buyer with an ideal car for summer motoring. Mercedes-Benz’s love-affair with sportscars was expanded in 1995 with the smallest roadster the marque has made in its history – the SLK. The first-generation R170 brought a folding-hard top – dubbed the ‘Vario-Roof’ by Mercedes – at a time when most roadsters were being phased out, and those that weren’t, were offered with traditional a canvas roof. It quickly proved a success for Mercedes, pipping the likes of Porsche, Audi, and BMW in the executive roadster market. The first-generation was offered with a four-cylinder or V6 petrol engine – both either supercharged or naturally aspirated - and either five- or six-speed manual or five-speed automatic gearbox. The R171 second-generation model arrived in 2004, offered with a supercharged four-cylinder engine, or V6 and V8 units. A faster folding time, and more compact folded proportions for the roof were brought in for the second-generation, and optional features included ‘AirScarf’ neck heaters, and remote operation of the folding roof. A facelift came along in 2008, with revised front bumper, LED lighting, improved interior design, and tweaked steering system. It was replaced in 2011, by the third-generation R172 SLK – and later SLC – lasting until 2020 when the model range was cut from the portfolio. · Well-presented example of the SLK-Class compact executive roadster. · Powered by a Mercedes V6 engine. · Highly-equipped model, including electric folding hard-top, and heated leather seats.
Registration - V3 KCLChassis No. - WP0ZZZ99Z3S607896M.O.T. - February 2024Odometer - 122,000The Porsche 911 Carrera needs no introduction, and this 996-generation 3.6 Carrera Tiptronic offers a particularly accessible entry point into the world of 911s. The vendor has owned this 2003 model for more than a year, after purchasing it from an elderly lady custodian in Oxford. They report it has a comprehensive service history including servicing and MOT details, plus engine and gearbox maintenance. Believed to be a matching-numbers car, this Porsche 911 has received a new exhaust and has also been cosmetically refreshed by a front bumper respray. With a credible 122,000 miles on the clock, both engine and automatic transmission are described by the current owner as being in ‘excellent' condition, while bodywork, paintwork and the full leather interior are deemed to be ‘average'.The Porsche 911 996 was a ground-breaking model for the German sports car firm – the first-ever water-cooled Porsche 911 since the series was introduced back in the 1960s. A brilliantly-conceived car, it was a truly modern 911 that still had the rear-engined character of the original, but with much-needed modern refinements and a big lift in everyday usability. This 2003 model is a later generation with the larger 3.6-litre engine, as opposed to the launch 3.4-litre, and it benefits from many of the ongoing reliability updates Porsche introduced through the years. Right now, the 996-era Porsche 911 is increasingly being seen as a future classic collectable, with values tipped to start increasing from here, just as they did for the early 964-generation model. Now is a great time to get onto the ladder before prices start going up again! In summary:· 2003 model that was previously owned by an elderly lady· Extensive file of receipts· Excellent engine and gearbox, and very well-priced
Registration - WJ65 OZDChassis No. - SDKRDS3D715572661M.O.T. - April 2025Odometer - 5,750Presented in Caterham Racing Green with yellow ‘nose’ and racing stripe, this example of Caterham’s Seven 360S evokes comparisons with the original Lotus Seven, on which the Caterham is based. ‘WJ65 OZD’ is fitted with Ford’s 2.0-litre four-cylinder Duratec engine, matched to a five-speed manual gearbox, and fitted with an open differential. It comes with full wet-weather kit, quick release Momo steering wheel, aftermarket mirrors, and a dry sump conversion. In all, more than £6,000 has been spent on modifications and maintenance according to the current keeper. The seller has had the Seven 360S in their possession for the past two years. Only the fourth keeper, they purchased the car through the Porsche network. It is currently owned by a former member of the Shell Motorsport Team, and has been well looked after throughout its near decade long existence. All areas of ‘WJ65 OZD’ are rated as being in ‘excellent’ condition by the vendor, including engine, transmission, electrics, interior, bodywork, and paintwork. Just 5,750 miles are showing on the odometer, a figure which is supported by the car’s MOT record. ‘WJ65 OZD’ will come with a 12-month MOT. The Caterham Seven story starts in 1957, with the Colin Chapman-designed Lotus Seven, which was produced from 1957 until 1972. Once production was ended by Lotus, Caterham bought the rights to the design, and has continued to make both kits and fully-manufactured models since. Various modifications and editions have been launched in the past fifty years, with a wide-body offered for a little extra comfort in the cabin, as well as options for windscreens, roll-cages, and wheel covers. It remains the archetypal driver’s car, and is capable of encompassing a huge variety of engine sizes from various manufacturers. Often fitted with compact and high-revving motorcycle units, the Seven shape is also capable of taking many four-cylinder engines, from the likes of Ford, Vauxhall, and Rover. The current range sees an option of Seven 170, more powerful Seven 360, and then Superlight and retro-inspired Super 7 models. Low mileage example of Caterham’s Seven open-top sportscar.Reckoned in ‘excellent’ condition throughout by the vendor.Offered with full wet-weather kit and removable sports steering wheel.
Registration - LGT 651NChassis No. - 2352050723M.O.T. - TBCOdometer- 97,138kmWith a distinctive white and blue colour scheme, this Volkswagen T2 Transporter is unusual in that the bodywork and chassis comes rust-free – enabled not due to ownership that only brought the VW out in dry weather, but because it has been imported from South Africa. Brought across around a year and a half ago, this T2 Transporter has always been a right-hand drive model thanks to the South African market, and has benefitted significantly from sunnier, southern hemisphere climes.Powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine, which drives a four-speed manual gearbox, LGT 651N comes fitted as a minibus rather than camper, with Porsche-style seating, including two benches forward of the rear-mounted engine. The black upholstery and black interior trim are rated as in ‘good’ condition by the seller, who has owned the vehicle since it was brought to the UK – imported through a respected and experienced importer of Japanese and South African vehicles. All other areas of the T2 Transporter are considered in ‘good’ condition too, other than the paintwork, which the seller reckons is ‘average’. As such, having covered an indicated 97,138 km on the odometer, this Volkswagen is a fantastic chance to buy a T2 Transporter with no need for any work, but in an essentially original condition.Volkswagen’s ‘difficult second album’, the T2 had to follow in the hugely-popular footsteps of the Type 2 ‘Samba Bus’… but it more than passed muster. In 1967, the T2 ‘Bay Window’ replaced the Type 2 ‘Split Screen’ and came with significant changes to the suspension, windows, and engine mounting – in all, just about every panel and mechanical part was new for the T2. Regularly improved throughout its life, VW added developments such as disk brakes, an optional larger capacity engine, and styling changes, with the main design tweaks carried out in 1972. The following year, further design and mechanical changes were added to the T2, which included a 1.8-litre engine and further uprated brakes, before a 2.0-litre boxer was added to the range a year before the T2 halted production in 1979.In summary:Rust-free example of a T2 Transporter minibusImported less than two years ago from South AfricaTwin benches in the rear provide extensive seating configurations
Registration - S228 FYGChassis No. - WP0ZZZ98ZWU600079M.O.T. - December 2024Odometer - 114,000Resplendent in Arena red, this early example of Porsche’s first-generation Boxster is offered with a highly desirable body-coloured removable hard-top and rear-wing. The deep red paintwork looks superb over the Savannah Beige leather-trimmed interior and grey alloy wheels. Coming with a high factory specification, ‘S228 FYG’ is also fitted with features such as heated seats and, also highly sought-after, a five-speed manual gearbox. This is fitted to Porsche’s 2.5-litre six-cylinder petrol engine, which has completed a little over 114,000 miles according to the odometer. The current owner considers the powertrain – both engine and transmission – to be in ‘good’ condition, as are the electrics, bodywork, and cabin. Only the paintwork is described otherwise, rated as ‘average’ for a vehicle approaching 26 years old. Considerable care has clearly been paid to ‘S228 FYG’ during its lifetime, since there is a service history with more than 20 stamps in the book, and a large folder containing invoices of work carried out. As examples of Porsche’s renowned driver’s car go, this Boxster is in good condition, with the all-important manual transmission for greater driver involvement, and the benefit of improved security and comfort during colder months of the removable hard-top.Porsche’s introduction of the Grant Larson-designed mid-engined two-seater Boxster cabriolet was the result of several years of striving to reverse the company’s fortunes following poor sales of the 928. The concept was presented at the North American International Auto Show in January 1993, and very well received by press and public. Production started in 1996 and, with its coupé ‘sister’, the Cayman, the Boxster would achieve the desired commercial result for Porsche, with both vehicles appealing to drivers who wanted to combine luxury motoring with excellent stability and dynamic performance. In summary:· A fine example of Porsche’s popular and successful first-generation Boxster sportscar.· Offered with removable body-coloured hard-top.· Comes with the highly desirable five-speed manual gearbox.

The Porsche 911/996 Carrera 4S is fast becoming one of the most desirable 996 models, given its wide turbo body looks and still remaining very affordable in the modern classic world. It offers a thrilling driving experience and is powered by 3.6 litre flat-six engine, producing a highly respectable 316bhp. This engine was paired to either a six-speed manual transmission or an optional five-speed Tiptronic automatic. The car was also fitted with an all-wheel drive system, giving it excellent traction and handling in any conditions. The 996 Carrera 4S has a top speed of 174mph and a 0-60 time of just 4.8 seconds, making it one of the fastest cars in its class. This very well cared for example is the right hand drive, manual derivative. Offered in good order throughout the Porsche is presented in Arctic Silver over a Metropol blue interior and looks superb! The paintwork is in very good order and the interior is in good condition commensurate of its age. Acquired by our vendor in 2020 this example has been used as intended and is showing 106,285 on the odometer. Maintained regardless of cost, the Carrera 4S was even treated to an engine rebuild by its previous vendor including a replacement IMS bearing, an issue commonly found with the 996 model. This work was undertaken in 2014 when the Porsche was showing a mileage of 69,389 and was undertaken by well-respected Porsche engine rebuild specialist, Hartech Ltd, the cost of which totalled £9,542.The 996 comes complete with an extensive service history and is currently looked after by Porsche specialists No.5 Garage, in Chiswick. Also included are two sets of keys, many original documents, old MoT records, the current UK registration and an MoT valid until 21st October 2024. A Carrera 4S with a manual gearbox is one of the best driving Porsches of the modern era, and this example is no exception. The sixth generation of the Porsche 911 was dubbed the 997 and introduced in 2005. It retained the previous model’s basic profile but drew on the 993 for detailing. In addition, the new headlights reverted to the original bug-eye design. The interior was similarly revised, with strong links to the earlier 911 interiors while at the same time looking fresh and modern. Initially, two versions of the 997 were introduced, the rear-wheel-drive Carrera and Carrera S. In late 2005 Porsche introduced the four-wheel drive versions of the 997, the Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S which were announced as 2006 models. The 997 remains a worthy model of one of the most celebrated sports cars ever produced and also received mostly positive reviews from the worldwide motoring press, with Jeremy Clarkson, a known detractor of Porsche cars, noting that the 997 will "make love to your fingertips and stir your soul."The best ‘all-rounder’ in the 997 line up, this Carrera 4S comes with the desirable six-speed manual gearbox mated to the 3.8 litre flat six engine. A UK supplied C16 car, it is well optioned with heated leather two-way electric front seats, leather rear seats, PCM module, Euro navigation, BOSE sound system and 19” Sport Design wheels. Presented in probably the best colour combination of Midnight Blue with blue interior, the car has led a pampered life. Out of the six main service stamps, four are from Porsche main dealers and the other two are from renowned Porsche specialist JAZ Porsche Ltd. Whilst the last official service was carried out in June 2018 at JAZ, they also replaced the roof mechanism in March of this year. Since 2018 the car has been maintained by the Vendor’s in-house mechanic who maintains all his collection. The vendor has noticed that the air conditioning isn’t working, but other than that, he reports the car to run and drive very well indeed.Supplied with a V5C registration document, book pack and service record from JAZ Porsche Ltd. Great performance and stunning looks combined, make this model still the one to have. Consigned by Will Penrose. DESIRABLE SIX-SPEED MANUAL CARWELL OPTIONEDAIR CONDITIONING NOT WORKING
The 964 was produced between 1989 and 1994 and is a standout car for its time which is possibly even more sought-after today. It has a sleek, modern look that is still recognisable and unique, which made it a very popular donor car for people choosing to build a backdated, or ‘resto-mod’ 911. The fact that so many 964s were used as the base for a ‘resto-mod’ build, means that very few un-modified examples remain, especially in rear wheel drive Carrera 2 guise. This Carrera 2 cabriolet has been with our vendor for 15 years and looks excellent in its lesser seen special order colour of Velvet Red Metallic. The car is fitted with the all important manual gearbox, making this a very desirable car. The option code sticker is still present under the bonnet, showing option ‘220 – locking differential’, ‘383 & 387 – Sport seats’, ‘494 – Two rear shelf speakers’, ‘567 top tint windscreen’, ‘690 CD Player’. The car was originally supplied to Jersey and was brought over to the British mainland in 1993, with the V5C showing 4 keepers in total. Our vendor has owned the car since 2009 and has been maintained particularly well since, almost exclusively with Parr Porsche specialists. The bills in the file total over £40,000, with the standout being a bill for over £9,000 for a top end engine overhaul in September 2020, just a couple of thousand miles ago. There really are too many invoices to detail, but the car has been seen by Parr mainly on an annual basis, bar a few exceptions, during our vendor’s ownership and it has always been kept in fine fettle. The cup alloy wheels are in good order and are shod in barely used Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres.Cosmetically the car presents well, there are a few usual age related marks, but everything is commensurate with its nearly 35 years of use and only 63,000 miles. The drivers seat bolster has worn, quite common due to how pronounced they are, but it could be easily rectified by the new owner. Overall, the interior presents well and has room for some improvements to bring the car up to the best standards. This is an excellent example of a manual Carrera 2, which is the one to have and is presented to auction with a fantastic history file, MoT test certificate valid until 4th December 2024 and a V5C registration document. The Cayman R was introduced in 2011 as the pinnacle of the 987 generation. Based on the 2009 987.2 Cayman S, the Cayman R was lighter and came with additional power and handling upgrades. A 54.8 kg weight saving over the Cayman S was achieved with the use of 19 inch lightweight wheels shared with the Boxster Spyder, aluminium doors from the 997 911 GT3, carbon fibre bucket seats from the 997 911 GT2, and with the removal of the radio, storage compartments, door handles and rear wiper. There were minor changes to aerodynamics with the Cayman R, mostly coming from the use of the rarely selected Porsche OEM aerokit, introduced as an option in 2007. A carbon rear spoiler was added as well as more aggressive front fascia spoilers. With all new passive sports suspension, the Cayman R was 10 mm lower than a Cayman S equipped with PASM, or a full 20 mm lower than a Cayman S equipped with standard passive suspension. The powertrain is a 3.4 litre direct injection flat-six engine with 326 hp with a six-speed manual or seven-speed PDK automatic gearbox. The standard Cayman R can accelerate from 0–62 mph in 4.9 seconds with the optional seven-speed PDK dual clutch transmission or with the optional Sport Chrono Package offering launch control, it can accelerate from 0–62 mph in 4.7 seconds. The Cayman R also boasts a top speed of 175 mph.Presented in Aqua Blue with silver decals and black leather heated seats and sitting on optional 19-inch Turbo II forged aluminium wheels this example has just been subject to a major 12-year service which included new brake lines throughout, new battery and all new air conditioning condensers. Specified with the optional PDK gearbox, PCM, automatic climate control, park assist, heated seats, sound package plus and mobile phone preparation. Owned by our vendor since October 2022 it has a full history file and although specified with few creature comforts the car boasts a Miltek exhaust system to complement one of Porsches best all round drivers cars. This is a well maintained, well optioned example of a very collectable car, many of which have been locked away but it would be a shame not to enjoy such a fabulous drivers example. to followIn May 1974, Volkswagen presented the first-generation Golf as a modern front-wheel drive, long-range replacement for the Volkswagen Beetle. Later Golf variations included the Golf GTI 'hot hatch' introduced in June 1976, a diesel powered version from September 1976, the Jetta notchback saloon in October 1979 and from the end of 1979 the Golf cabriolet built by Karmann. September 1983 saw the introduction of the second-generation Volkswagen Golf, the Mk. II, that grew slightly in terms of wheelbase, exterior and interior dimensions while retaining, in a more rounded form, the Mk. I's overall look. There was not a Golf Mk. II based cabriolet model, instead, the Mk. I cabriolet was continued over the Mk. II's entire production run. Karmann, in Osnabrück, Germany, was until 2009 the largest independent motor vehicle manufacturing company in Germany. For more than a century, they have undertaken various roles, from design to production and assembly of components for various automobile manufacturers including Chrysler, Porsche and the Volkswagen Group. This Volkswagen was originally registered on 28th September 1989. In 2015 it was registered with HPI as an insurance loss, however it appears to have been repaired to a good standard. In 2021 the cambelt was changed, with new shock absorbers also fitted along with four new tyres. This is a great car to experience open top motoring at low expense. These cars are incredibly reliable and robust; this example comes with a V5, a history folder and a current MoT valid until 22nd August 2024. Offered for sale without reserve. The original 911ST has an interesting history, probably more so due to its genuine competition lineage. During the era of early 911 production, Porsche were continuously developing their road cars for competition, and with great success. Keen to see customers using their cars in the same manner, they created a series of performance accessories that could be ordered directly from the factory to upgrade a standard car either after, or during production. In 1969 a race-oriented version of the 911 was launched known internally as the ST (the name stood for Sport Touring). The original was based on the 911 T with a 2.3 litre engine, whilst the later 2.5 was usually based on the 911S and internally known as the SR, however, most are referred to as a 2.5 ST today.Interestingly, unlike the ‘73 RS that followed, there is no particular defining characteristic for an S/T, each could be made with different combinations of racing components offered by Porsche to suit the intended use. Whether it was for rally or race, your new 911 could be equipped accordingly.S cams would usually be preferred for rallying, whilst peaky 906 cams could be specified for the most powerful short-stroke, twin-plug, fuel-injected 2.5 motors, often producing circa 270BHP+ at 8000 rpm depending on spec and application (track vs rally for example). Impressive stuff for the early Seventies. There were also a number of gearbox options with ratios for different scenarios, as well as plastic and steel fuel tanks, and a host of different other upgrades for racers around the world, and all were detailed together with setup guides for the 911 in the `Sports Purposes` booklet. Sometimes these special components were installed by the factory, and in other cases, they were installed retrospectively by dealers or racing teams. By the early 70s, this allowed privateer teams to compete with effectively works specification cars. Some early examples could be seen sporting Minilite rear wheels instead of the classic 911 Fuchs alloys, and most S/Ts featured a number of thinner steel, aluminium or fibreglass parts to keep weight down, often in different widths and profiles too. That’s what makes it so hard to define an S/T. It’s not a specific set of components, rather a combination of special components. These were race cars that were extensively modified and rebuilt in period without any thought toward their status as future collectables and as such each car is unique. Originally supplied by AFN in the UK, this matching numbers 1971 911T remained in largely original specification but for a restoration in the late 90s, sold to specialist Dave Dennett of DSD Motorwerks in 2010 for conversion into a period specification ST. During the build, any modifications he made were period correct, his aim being to acquire FIA competition papers when completed. This included the steel arches being replicated from period photographs, hand beaten to accommodate 7” x 15” front and 9” x 15” rear wheels, and a lightweight interior being fitted. The original matching numbers engine was retained, however currently fitted, is another engine built from a genuine un- numbered 7R magnesium case. This engine was fully built around these cases to short stroke ST specification. This included the following: Cases shuffle pinned and gas flowed, 2.2 crank 66mm, Porsche S nitride rods, JE pistons, Mahle barrels, twin plug heads with new guides 3 angle valve seat and enlarged ports, titanium valve springs, new race valves, ST twin plug distributor, S specification cams, uprated and rebuilt MFI pump, uprated oil pump, 1”5/8 race headers and lightweight aluminium flywheel. The brakes were upgraded with aluminium RS spec callipers and vented discs all round and period Koni adjustable dampers and uprated roll bars were fitted in addition to the rebuilt suspension. A lightweight clutch was fitted and a Tuthill adjustable pedal box. Wheels are 7×15” refurbished Fuchs on the front and 9”x15” Minilites were fitted on the rear. Also fitted were upgraded Bosch twin fuel pumps, plumbed in fire suppression system and Schroth 5 point harnesses. As is often the case with these projects, it was sold before being totally finished to our vendor in 2019, who has now continued the journey of personalisation to the tune of an additional £150,000, a car than now ‘owes him’ £275,000 and as he states to create this car would be in excess of £350,000 and involve a 2-4 year wait given the names involved in the build.Offered with a history file detailing the build with photographs and documents in a box file full of provenance of the car now and back to the 80’s. The matching numbers 2.2 engine is stored and this and the fibreglass bumper for FIA papers comes with the car, the new owner will need to collect or delivery can be arranged at their cost. The modified Porsche scene is dominated by Singer with its reimagined ST built on a later 964, Tuthill with their interpretation the 911K, in an area that ever popular, enhancing original cars to a period upgraded specification this example sits neatly offering a buyer the opportunity to rub shoulders with the bespoke ‘resto mods’ like Singer. If you are looking for a genuine period car with period `Sports Purposes` upgrades, together with a nicer interior than a stripped-out racer, then this car certainly has a good deal more kudos than a backdated example. If you want to take things a bit more seriously remove the niceties, put the fibreglass panels back on, install a pair of current FIA seats and this car will be ready for the Tour Auto or Modena Cento Ore without the three to four year wait for the build of a car and the expense of over £300k to build the car today. The 996 model is a superb car; quick, reliable, well-made and represented the birth of the water-cooled 911. With a wide range of models on offer, the most iconic is, of course, the Turbo. Featuring four-wheel drive and a 3.6 litre, intercooled engine derived from the 1998 Le Mans winning GT-1 car pushing out 420bhp and hitting 60mph in a whisker over four seconds, this is genuine supercar territory. The 996 was seen as a more relaxed and usable 911; however, in Turbo guise, the driver would get the best of both worlds; a luxury leather interior with every creature comfort combined with the ability to drop the hammer and reach a top speed of a claimed 190mph. In 2002, the X50 package was offered as an option on the Turbo that included larger K24 turbochargers and intercoolers, a revised ECU and quad-pipe exhaust which raised power output to 450bhp, however in 2005, Porsche introduced the Turbo S model available as either a coupé or cabriolet. The Turbo S was essentially a 996 turbo with the X50 option but also included PCCB, 6-disc CD changer and aluminium-faced instruments. Originally registered on 25th July 2005 this one owner Porsche Turbo S presents in beautiful condition. Supplied by Porsche East London, the vendor has ensured servicing was carried out by the supplying dealer. This 996 has been lovingly cherished, always garaged and used sparingly by the vendor. Finished in the desirable colour combination of Basalt Black with full black leather trim which shows little signs of wear due to having only covered a mere 20,051 miles from new.We are informed the car drives beautifully, as it should and, as a flagship Turbo S made at the end of the 996 generation’s life, comes with the X50 option pack as factory standard. This includes larger turbochargers and intercoolers that propel the car to 100kph in 3.6 seconds and, combined with Porsches excellent stability control, makes for a sensational and very enjoyable drive. Supplied with a V5 registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 9th December 2024, together with the original service books, this stunning example makes an ideal case for a usable modern classic investment that can be enjoyed properly at a fraction of the original cost of over £100,000. The Porsche 992 is the eighth and current generation of the Porsche 911 which was introduced at the Porsche Experience Centre, Los Angeles on 27th November 2018. The 992 has wide rear-wheel arches which was a part of every model in the 992 lineage (a design feature limited chiefly to high performance variants of previous 911 iterations) along with 20-inch wheels on the front and 21-inch wheels at the rear. Compared to its predecessor, the 992 is 45 mm wider and uses aluminium body panels. The 992 also has a new rear bumper with larger exhaust tips than its predecessor. The front of the car is designed to mimic the appearance of an early 911 in a modern fashion. The interior also has received significant changes including a straighter dashboard which harks back to the shape of the dashboard used on the classic 911. The instrument cluster consists of two seven-inch digital displays and an analogue tachometer also a reference to the classic 911 models. The engines have Piezo injection and a revised intake system, a wet mode feature is also introduced on the 992 which uses acoustic sensors on the wheel wells to detect wet pavement and adjusts the stability control, the rear wing position and gearbox responsiveness to keep the car stable. A Sport Chrono package is also available on all models and features an over boost function that provides increased performance for 20 seconds with the 0-62 mph acceleration times decreased by 0.2 seconds with the Sport Chrono package. This stunning 2020 (2021 model year) 992 is presented in GT Silver with black leather heated trim. First registered on 10th November 2020, this example is well specified with electric heated seats, heated steering wheel, Sports Chrono pack, Sports exhaust with the ‘loud’ button and LED Matrix headlights. Boasting just 20,000 miles from new, in 2022 YP70 XAG was subject to an insurance loss and categorised Category S (structural damage that will need professional repair before they are safe to drive). However, on reviewing the photo of the damage this appears to have been overzealous with the damage relating to the front drivers side bumper with the airbags not having been triggered. Earlier this year the current owner and vendor commissioned Autolign Inspections, the only company in the UK who are recognised by HPI as the vehicle inspection company for the change of status of Category C, D, S & N vehicles. After a full inspection they changed the status to Condition Inspected which ensures that all repairs have been completed to a high standard and the car removed from the Category S status. This example of the latest incarnation of the 911 is offered with a very attractive estimate and thus provides the opportunity to own and drive one of the best engineered modern day sports cars, equally adept at daily driving as it would be storming around the Nürburgring all while looking every part the £135,000 plus a new example costs. The first Porsche 911 was introduced in 1963 as the replacement for the much-loved Porsche 356. It has a distinctive design; rear-engined and with independent rear suspension, an evolution of the swing axle on the Porsche 356. The engine was also air-cooled until the introduction of the Type 996 in 1998. Since its introduction in 1963, it has undergone continual development, although the basic concept has remained little changed. In 1973, the Carrera name was re-introduced from the 356 Carrera which had itself been named after Porsche's class victories in the Carrera Panamericana races in Mexico in the 1950’s. The most notable advances in 1984 were the introduction of the 3.2-litre engine. Although it remained an air-cooled 'flat-six', the '3.2' was 80% new and incorporated an effective cam chain tensioner and associated lubrication system that at last addressed a perennial 911 shortcoming. With 231bhp on tap, the new 'boxer' motor endowed the Carrera with a level of performance approaching that of the original 911 Turbo of 1974, the bald statistics being a 0-60mph time of 5.3 seconds and a top speed of 152mph.This example was registered in the UK in 1987 although it was manufactured in 1984 as confirmed by the Certificate of Authenticity. A full body restoration has been carried out, with photographic evidence. We are advised this 911 drives well with no known faults, the 3.2 litre engine reported to running well. The blue coachwork is in good order with some minor age-related marks. Supplied with a history folder and V5 registration document together with a current MoT test certificate valid until 17th April 2025. Air-cooled 911’s continue to be increasingly popular. Volkswagen's decision not to proceed with their designed-by-Porsche 914 replacement led to the latter taking on the project themselves. Launched in November 1975, the resulting 924 drew heavily on Volkswagen/Audi components: the 2-litre, four-cylinder, overhead-camshaft engine being a development of the Audi 100's, and the four-speed transaxle a VW unit. A five-speed Porsche-designed gearbox and improvements to the suspension were early developments, and in 1978 came the first truly high-performance 924 - the Turbo. The latter's extra 45bhp raised top speed to around 150mph, and this figure would be further improved upon by the 924 Carrera GT. A road model with competition potential, the luxuriously equipped Carrera GT was launched at the 1979 Frankfurt Show. Easily distinguishable from lesser 924s by virtue of its bonnet air intake and widened wheelarches, the Carrera GT was built in limited numbers - only 406 were made - 400 cars being the minimum requirement to gain homologation for rallying and Group 4 events. The standard version came with 210bhp but this could be boosted to well over 300bhp for racing. Three cars were entered by the works in the 1980 Le Mans 24-Hour Race, finishing 6th, 12th and 13th.This excellent Porsche 924 S2 Turbo was delivered to it’s first owner in February 1982. This rare right hand drive is from the final batch of 943 cars produced for the 1982 model year. Having led a relatively sheltered life, and being completely rust free it was chosen by a Porsche fanatic and collector to create a near perfect copy of the Carrera GT. The look is courtesy of Pro-9 light weight front wings, front apron, and rear wheel arches. The front wings have the correct 928 repeaters installed, the rear wheel arches are correctly tubbed and sculptured to fit and a functional Carrera GT air scoop was let into the bonnet. The Spax suspension is adjustable, properly set up and corner weighted. The 7” front and 8” rear x 15” Fuchs style wheels are by Design 911 and shod with Toyo Protex tyres. Inside the car it has the correct Carrera GT Recaro seats and the interior has all been re-trimmed in the correct, unique Carrera GT upholstery. A retro-style Blaupunkt radio with Bluetooth is fitted. Under the bonnet lies the very rare and bespoke Langerer & Reich intercooler, fed by the GT bonnet scoop. Subtly, the digital ignition, and timing control has been replaced with ECU Master engine management system by Northampton Motorsport. This includes 21st century sensors, ignition system and boost control which brings better reliability, better economy and easy driveability. After been on their rolling road, Northampton Motorsport have created a car with a second map that outperforms the original Carrera GT, a flick of a hidden switch takes you from 180bhp/200Ib-ft to 211bhp/242Ib-ft torque. Just like the Jaguar Mk. II had done in the 1960's, the BMW M5, affectively reinvented the popular notion of a sports saloon. The E39 generation is seen as one of the true great M cars, introduced in 1998 when Jaguar had just introduced an XJR with 365bhp, and Mercedes-Benz's latest E55 produced 350bhp, after a three-year absence, BMW responded with an automotive knock-out punch: the E39 M5. Its muscular bodywork concealed a 5.0 litre, DOHC 32 valve, V8 with variable valve timing producing roughly 400bhp and mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Daring drivers could sprint from 0-60 in just 4.7 seconds; faster than a Porsche 911, while roaring through the gears with a 7,000rpm redline and a throaty exhaust note blaring through four exhaust tips. This example is presented in the exceedingly rare ‘Individual’ Velvet metallic, which is simply one of ‘the’ colours to have on an E39 M5. This is an opportunity which is very rarely available, only seven cars are believed to exist in the UK in this colour and this particular one is the only example specified with Sand Beige interior. Our vendor has owned three E39 M5’s in total and this car was on his radar for a very long time before he had the opportunity to purchase it. When it did become available he jumped straight in the car and bought it that same day! Forming part of an impressive BMW collection, this car has been in the right hands with our vendor and the previous long-term owner. The service history is excellent, with 18 service stamps from a mixture of main agents and specialists and the overall condition of the car is superb. Supplied to auction with a V5C registration document, MoT test certificate and a comprehensive maintenance history, this M5 will be truly appreciated by enthusiasts and collectors alike. On 5 November 2009, Porsche officially announced a new variant of the Boxster, which was officially unveiled at the 2009 Los Angeles Motor Show. Positioned above the Boxster S, the Boxster Spyder was the lightest Porsche on the market at the time, weighing 1,275 kg, 80 kg lighter than a Boxster S. This was achieved through the elimination of the conventional soft top's operating mechanism, the radio/PCM unit, door handles, air conditioning, storage compartments, cup holders and large LED light modules on the front fascia, although some of these could be re-added to the car in the form of options. Weight saving was also gained using aluminium doors, an aluminium rear deck and the lightest 19-inch wheels in the Porsche pallet. The Spyder has a firmer suspension set-up than the other Boxster models and is almost one inch lower in order to have improved handling. A manually operated canvas top, carbon fibre sports bucket seats and two signature humps running along the back of the vehicle provide characteristic design elements. Powered by a six-cylinder boxer engine rated at 320 bhp and 273 lb ft of torque, a 10 hp increase in power over the Boxster S and the related Cayman S. The Boxster Spyder came with a six-speed manual transmission as standard and had Porsche's seven-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox available as an option. This stunning example of the very collectable Porsche Spyder is presented in Glacier White with carbon seats trimmed in Alcantara and black hood. Originally registered on 11th May 2011 a car that defies the 13 years the car has been on UK roads. Boasting under 20,000 miles the car has been cared for very well and presents almost as well as when it was purchased new from Porsche with the original launch book even included. This makes this model very limited in numbers.A collectable and rare example of the 911 presented in Artic Silver with contrasting black leather trim, this example of the iconic Turbo S was first registered on 4th October 2004. Originally a Porsche Press car and featured in magazines including Autocar, Evo magazine, Porsche 911 World and 911 Magazine, copies of which can be found in the history file. Costing when new a shade under £100,000, this example has covered a mere 61,900. Importantly, a manual example of the ultimate incarnation of the 996 Turbo, this is one of just 1,563 units produced of a desirable Turbo S boasting the X50 engine and believed to be one of less than 60 UK manual cars. Upon inspection it was advised the car would benefit from new tyres and a wheel refurbishment, but our vendor has sensibly taken this into account when pricing the car allowing a new owner to adorn the Turbo S with their own choice. The bodywork and trim are all in good order and the car has an MoT test certificate which is valid until July 2024 with the only advisories regarding tyre wear. The car boasts just six former keepers in its 19 years along with the original magazine from its use a press car and a large folder of paperwork and invoices. We are informed the car drives well and is still eye wateringly fast as it should and, as a flagship Turbo S made at the end of the 996 generation’s life, comes with the X50 option pack as factory standard.
